You don't want to under sell the retailers that work so hard to sell your product.

That's how it goes for nearly all breweries. As Marcat said, it has to do with keeping the retailers happy.

I wonder if the same practice occurs among the wine industry.

Who am I to complain though, I'll just stop buying beers at the brewery if I have to pay a 33% premium to get it at the source.

Just as a local example, Chateau Grand Traverse sells their Late Harvest Riesling for 14, and you can get it in stores for 10.99.

    Too rich for my blood.

4 different beers. I don't remember all of their names though. There's a wheat wine, a stout, a brown, and an IPA. There's a post towards the bottom of page 1 with the names.

What's all in the imperial series? Also, does anyone wanna do a local for local trade for some Naughty Girl Stout?

I'll drive through Gary. If you want to head over that way, I don't mind being a mule.

I bought 2 at the brewery. I'll probably open them once I get down to Indy.

BTW, Siciliano's is holding a RBB tasting on the 21st at 4:00.
