I have lived in Michigan, Texas, Belgium and Washington and have had the opportunity to drink the best beers available in these places. I have roughly 300 beers in my cellar and they range from obscure and lesser knowns to infamous and sought after.
I am not a fan of IPAs but I am trying to learn an appreciation for them. I enjoy sours, barleywines, stouts and porters. I LOVE gueuze, I can never have enough gueuze.
I have been drinking beer (legally) for 11 years and I have had a love of craft beers this whole time. I remember the days when you could visit places like Bells and not be crushed by a mob of people. One thing that annoys the crap out of me is old drunkards that think, because they are older and have consumed more beer, that they know more and deserve some sort of respect because of it.
