Which Lou Pepe? Eh, regardless I'd go with the Fou Foune.

Well, the only Lou Pepe I've had is the kriek and it's quite good, but I like Fou Foune better.

I'd go for the Classic Gueuze so I had a better sense of what the base beer was like before other things get involved. (e.g., fruit, special blending, etc.)

While all are worth drinking you may want to establish a baseline against which to compare/measure other Gueuzes that are easier to find and variants of the Classic Gueuze if you get a chance at them again.

Not to be a Debbie Downer, but I would double-check via phone before getting hopes up. I've heard of places having stuff like that on their bottle menus, but not actually in the house. It is not normal to have all of those available in one place these days. If it's an event, I would not be late.

Anyway, they're all great, tho I'm not big on Mamouche. Fou Foune is the obvious choice given the scenario.

Assuming you know that you will enjoy the styles (it's not what most people expect), you'll find that all of them are excellent. I don't know if I could choose one over the others, but Cuvee St. Gilloise (Champions) would probably win by a hair.

I haven't had Lou Pepe but I have had Fou' Foune and it blew my mind. I'd be the happiest guy in the world if I could have it again.

People rave about Fou 'Foune. Let me know what you think.

I have also never had a beer from Cantillon but I do have a Fou 'Foune and an Iris in my cellar.
