FFF Permanent Funeral... so good...
'twas tasty indeed
Sours in general......(owe gratitude to fellow BA's encouraging me to try them!)
Three Floyds In The Name Of Suffering
Goose Island Albatross
Royal Arms (cask conditioned)
Made a road trip to Chicago & Munster last weekend. Obviously.
Troegs Scratch 91: Dunkel Lager
Long Trail Double Bag Altbier
In the past month I've had my first:
Plead the Fifth
Ground Break Saison
Loved them all and currently have a six pack of Flower Power and two 4 packs of Plead residing in my closet. Alchemy Hour I drank on tap all night last night when I finally got to my first bar in, like, three months my life has been so boring.
WOW really?? thats awesome! I wonder how much it will cost.
FSW Union Jack
Founders Dirty Bastard
Sam Smith's Imperial Stout
I just got a 6-pack of Velvet Merlin and it is great. I'm assuming he means the BA version won't be available again.
It will cost the same as parabola and sucaba i believe. That seems the price point for those beers.
Velvet Merkin is the ba velvet merlin. It was only available at the tasting room or barrelworks before this year. I will be going to the release as i cant make it to the parabola one coming this weekend.
On a side note, just googled Merkin and figured out that wasn't a typo..
great lakes- alchemy hour(mosaic hops add a distinct taste to this one)
pipeworks-something hoppy this way comes(just scored a fresh bottle friday and i can't wait)
alesmith-speedway stout(has to be 1 of the top 5 non-ba coffee stouts)
lagunitas imperial stout(1 of the better imperials i have tried at a $4.50 a bomber price point)
oso's lupilin maximus(gotta have the hop cone in it though
and i know you only asked for 5 but i have to throw in new glarus raspberry tart, might have to cross the border and try and find some more. it's funny because i have tried all these beers in the last three months, if i went out a year my list would probably quintuple. it has been a great year for beer in chi-town.
Cycle Brewing Goodnight Stout
Cycle Brewing Fast Breaker
CW Peruvian Morning
The Devil made me do it
Cubano espresso brown ale
Founders Imperial Stout
strange becuase i have seen the gf barleywine on the shelves around here for $4.50 to $5, now the palette wrecker i thought was fubar because that was over $9 a bomber and you could get a 4-pack for $14
the kaiser is definately 1 of the best imperial oktoberfests out there that i have tried, you might want to try the czar(imperial stout)as well.
Bourbon county coffee
Ivan the Terrible
Cantillon Kriek 1996
Uinta Cockeyed Cooper
Plead the 5th
Draai Laag Framboise Noir
I fortunate to have a friend that opened up one of his old Cantillons for me last night. It's crazy that 12ish years ago he bought 4 cases of Cantillon on sell off.
Sam Smith Organic Chocolate stout
Firestone Double Jack
Bellegems Bruin by Bockor
These are the ones that stick out the most that I've had within the last week or so and don't have any lying around. The other stuff (KBS) I have plenty of (relatively speaking)

Mother Earth's Silent Night
Sierra Nevada Bourbon Aged Bigfoot
Brooklyn Brewery There Will Be Black?? I believe this is the black IPA or pale ale that I had on tap, loved it.
Wicked Weed anything.... namely the bourbon aged porter, stout and their sour cherry stout
I had an El Cedro the other night and it was so good I didn't want to follow it up with anything else I had on hand, since I knew nothing could compare.
NG Belgian Red
Fat Heads just started selling in Indiana. More Headhunter!
Green Flash Serrano Chile Stout is currently on tap at our Flying Saucer and I have been tearing through it. I'm afraid it will be gone soon.
