Red Rocket Ale and Mission to Mars.
Hop Stoopid and Stepbrothers.
Midas Touch and The Man With the Golden Gun
And for some reason, Scythe and Sickle made me think of Children of he Corn. Why I have no clue.
Haven't had that beer but I love Fellini. Nice selection of Criterion titles you've got there.
The beer is nothing to write home about.
My selection of Criterion titles includes "all" of them
Not recent, but Blu-rays at the time:
one of those is beer related....
Double Bastard and Bad Santa
That's amazing! I've been collecting for around ten years and probably have half of them. Haven't been buying as many in recent years but I've updated to blu-ray and bought a bunch of those releases. How did you get the early OOP titles like Killer, Hard Boiled, Dead Ringers, Robocop, etc.? I thought about buying them on eBay but they get really expensive and there are a lot of bootleg/fake editions out there.
I bought them while they were in-print. Bought my first DVD player in 1997
Very cool. Do you have any of the old laserdisc titles like King Kong, Akira, Citizen Kane? I never had a laserdisc player but it would be cool to have some of them.
Modus Hoperandi and Se7en
Rhizing Bines and Dumb and Dumber
It's actually a great Belgian IPA. You can find it at most Total Wine stores.
squatters outer darkness and stars trilogy
Chariots of fire and victory ale.
Constantine and Lucifer!
Snow Day = The Day After Tomorrow
Racer 5 = Cars
Smuttynose Old Brown Dog Ale = Cujo
Samurai Ale = Last Samurai
Coney Island Mermaid Pilsener = Splash
He'Brew Messiah = Life of Brian
Red Hoptober = Red October
Left Hand Milk Stout 'Nitro" and The Wages of Fear -
Blue Velvet is the only correct answer here.
Nah, Lucky Lager is the star beer of that movie.
Kuhnhenn 4D and Coppola's Dementia 13
Jewbelation x Life of Brian
Wall Street and Arrogant Bastard
Wall Street 2 and Double Bastard
Which one is beer-related? I am amazed! I am currently going through my college's Criterion collection (over 100). Actually, I was thinking of making a similar thread. I was just thinking of what people would think of to drink for a movie, which I guess is similar. I am trying to make a connection between Straw Dogs and Weyerbacher's Heresy. I currently have out all the Luis Bunuel films they did, the Orphic trilogy, Naked Lunch, Seven Samurai, and Man Bites Dog.
STRAW DOGS and Weyerbacher's HERESY (?)
And here was I, happy for having 20 something Criterion... Kind of the same feeling as seeing some BA's cellars.
Great collection anyways.
I think this one would be more with Left Hand:
Not that the beer deserves it, but should be spelled Tsingtao (or Qingdao, the actual city name). Apologies for being a stickler, but I was a Chinese major, and....I...I just had to
The Titanic and Budweiser Black Crown.
Orlando Brewing Partners "Box of Chocolates" & Forrest Gump
I don't really get it. Are you implying that Titanic sucks? I was thinking more along the lines of Flying Dog's Pearl Necklace.
No, I'm just implyng that Black Crown will sink to the bottom of the ocean.
Indian Wells Red Dawn, and the orignal Red Dawn ... WOLVERINES!!!
