I was speaking with the owner of Alesmith, Peter Zien, at the Fest yesterday afternoon. He said they are currently looking into local distributors and will hopefully be in the state within 6 months. I am super excited for this caliber of a brewery to enter our state. What are everyone's thoughts on Alesmith's entrance into our market? How do you think they will do?
    Cheers,

Never had anything by them but given their reputation I certainly would welcome their entry by grabbing some of their offerings.

Old Numbskull is one of my favorite barleywines. I've never had any of the barrel aged stuff so hopefully we get that. Our distribution lately is nuts. Not everyone is going to make it. Based on the beers I've had from Alesmith they'll do fine. Anyone know their prices?

I'm a fan of the standard Speedway. Hopefully the BA stuff will make it into CO too

They don't distribute their BA stuff. But the regular lineup is pretty damn good.

Regular bombers run between 4-6 and the 750's, I think, are anywhere from 8.99 to 14. Yulesmith bombers about 8. Great beers all around though

Everything I've ever had from them has kicked ass. Do they do anything outside of champagne style bottles?

I've never had anything from them, but have heard nothing but great things so I'm very much looking forward to their arrival!

IPA, Anvil ESB, Xtra Pale Ale, and Yulesmith are all 22oz bombers.

Alesmith would be great! Love the Speedway Stout. Also the Wee Heavy is one of my favorite of that style. Old Numbskull, IPA yes! The beer market is exploding, some breweries wont make it!

I bought a bottle of Numbskull last year in San Fransisco which we opened a few weeks back. It was competely flat and pretty much undrinkable. Hoping that was a fluke.

Seems like every 2 years or so there is a new thread saying Alesmith is coming to CO. I will believe it when I see it, but if they do come boom diggity! There goes that pay check.
