Be in town Wed. and Thurs. nite staying downtown at Courtyard and will probably just walk to Bailey's, Henry's, and Deschutes unless anything else special going on? Thanks.

Just walk a bit more and hit up HOTD and Cascade.

Well what is happening at Baileys is the best prices on the most varied taplist in the city, and sort of the opposite at Henry's, so plan accordingly.

Cascade taps a live barrel on Tuesdays as well. Sign up for their email list and next week they'll tell you what it is. Probably worth a visit anyway.

Another sort of unsolicited suggestion: Clyde Common has a nice little 5-6 beer taplist (Upright, Boneyard etc.) and happy hour 3-6p which means $3.5 beers.

    Completely agree!!!

I have never understood the love for Henry's or life of Riley.

Thanks for the tips I know Henry's ain't cheap but the company's payin' so.... also I'm considering HOTD and Cascade but the guy i will be with is kind of a craft beer rookie so that may be too extreme for him but maybe

Cascade makes a lot of stuff that would be palatable to novice craft drinkers. About half of the taps at the Barrel House are non-sours. And both they and HotD sell tasters, so you can try stuff without taking too much of a risk.

Still don't like the place, complete failure when it comes to any atmosphere and deschutes and baileys are mere blocks away.

I'm now thinking of eating dinner at Higgins one night what do you think, the reviews seem good
