I will be in Houston for the week. Do any stores carry ABW?
ABW is not in Houston yet. Have to go to Austin.
I think DFW gets ABW as well now, correct me if I'm wrong.
Thx for the clarification, Lutter.
Thanks. Yeah we get ABW at a couple stores in DFW. Just curious.
I don't think you can buy packaged Austin Beerworks in Houston (yet), but Nobi Public House tweeted over the weekend that they'll be tapping some soon. As far as I know, they'll be the first place to have it in Houston.
@nobipub: "@AustinBeerworks Black Thunder, and Fire Eagle will be pouring from our taps soon!"
Liberty station had peacemaker on draft this weekend
That's awesome! Anybody have any other Austin Beerworks sightings in Houston?
Sugar Land flying saucer has had Black Thunder in cans a few months back. Not sure if they still do.
Cottonwood has had Sputnik, peacemaker, pearl snap, and fire eagle in the past couple of months
On another note they did not have ABW but I did find a lonely bottle of Abyss 2012 in Katy
Well shit. I wish I could have tried Sputnik. I even tried to work out a trade with a couple people in Austin with no success. I guess I should start going to Cottonwood.
Where was this?
HEB on Pin Oak
Yes, yes you do. Roasted, coffee, awesome.
Craft Pride is the last place that I know of that has it on tap.
Wow - maybe I should go there sometime. Haven't been there yet. Nice find BTW...HEB has a few gems every once in a while.
We had a bunch of package come in to Houston a year or so ago (maybe more), but I think that was a one-shot deal. I've heard rumblings that it'll be back in Houston soon. I hope that's correct, I dug what I got to try.
Resurrecting this post for an update if any. Would love to see these guys in Houston soon.
Still no plans on the horizon to leave the Austin-area. We're growing about as fast as we're comfortable with, and Houston is a hungry beast.
Indeed we are and we love your beer Will just have to make a special trip I guess.
Everytime you release a new heavy machinery I head up to Austin for a few cases lol.
