So awesome things got worked out! I assume this is a permanent deal.

I hope the temp closure doesn't push back the anniversary party any. ; )

    Huge congtats!

Congrats to you, Brian, and the rest of the restaurant Matt. Hoping to make it in very soon and share some tasty beers.

Bruery Initiation Party in the morning, Blue Palms early afternoon? Yep, that sounds like a little bit of all right.

Excellent news! Just in time for St. Patrick's Day too. Looking forward to another visit soon.

BTW, what's Irish and stays out all night long?

Yup, we should be throwing a pretty epic grand re-opening celebration in the very new future. We've been working on securing some killer specialty kegs!

Just swung by tonight as I allocated my St Patrick's Day drinking to Surly Goat. I had a great time! I can't believe I saw an Ohio Buckeyes and Steelers banner next to each other - my family LOVES both these teams - got a great pic for Thanksgiving this year (near Akron, as usual). My mind is blown that I'm seeing these two together again, out here in LA! ANYWAY, there was also lots of awesome beer (and scotch!) and great service! My review is up now - http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/18028/?view=beerfly
P.S. I like the sound of the "epic grand reopening celebration"!

  11. Great News! Super excited for Brian! Can't wait to grab a pint soon!

anyone know if they allow kids in the blue palms? Not seeing info on their site, we're taking the kids to the hollywood bowl tomorrow, would love to grab food and a pint before the show.

It's a restaurant so I would say yes but call to make sure. Oddly I found no info on Yelp either. They don't open for quite a few hours. I bet you could get a faster response if you tweet them. https://twitter.com/BluePalms_Brew

Yes, it is a bona fide eating establishment.

PS I was really confused when I opened this thread, not realizing it was 2+ years old at first.

    Awesome, thanks.

Sorry for the confusion, hate starting new threads to just ask a quick question. Did a search and found this one.

I've been told they only allow kids in the early hours - which I assume won't be an issue. I randomly ended up at Stout on Cahuenga before going to the Bowl a few weeks back, had some nice beers on tap.

  21. Yes we allow kids for dinner until 11 pm. 21 and over after 11pm cheers!!
