So now that they've legalized it, does anyone else think ganja beer is an excellent idea?
Seriously though - water cure the bud to leach out the chlorophyll, tars, and other nasties. Then add it to the beer during dry hopping to extract the alcohol-soluble THC.
ISO: Buddha Beer.
Washington legalized tonight too. Curious when the first marijuana dry hopped beer is going to show up.
Man that sounds nasty... but I would for sure still try it.
Two down, fifty to go! And when The States do it, Canada will follow!
Wait... who's socialist again?
I happen to love this post.
Simply because I live in CO.
I think I might get into some trouble shipping that across state lines.
It is legal for medicinal use here, across the country. The feds passed the law allowing it. Give us some credit.
Medical marijuana is so 1998.
Is that a cigarette you're smoking?
Only in The District and seventeen states. And only at state level. It's allowed in all ten provinces and three territories by the feds here.
In tune with this thread, I thought the Uinta Dubhe Black IPA with hemp seed was excellent. I would totally check out a beer dry hopped with the dankness, but it sure as hell would be a pricy bottle me thinks
Prices might start coming down now. But the taxes will be astronomical.
People can avoid the tax by growing their own. Of course, there are equipment and hydro costs so all things considered, it's probably cheaper to buy the taxed stuff. Or grow outdoors.
Wow, I'm impressed. You've got this all worked out already.
Wouldn't work. You need a very high abv alcohol and it would be need to be "dry hopped" for a long time.
Seems like a waste, but hell I'm on board for a danky dank DIPA
It's actually Dankety-dank DIPA
Oregon blew it. We sure could learn a thing or two from Washington and Colorado. I know these things take time and all, but we didn't need to try and hit a grand-slam. Congrats to Washington and Colorado. Oregon...please take note. Did I mention beer?
That makes me sad. There has to be some way to do it.
Kind beer,I'm OK with that.
