Apple Valley just tweeted that they have DFH My Antonia in stock.
Birra del Borgo Italian version, not Dogfish
Damn, I was hoping to cut down on my Hudson runs.
I'm sad now.
Dogfishhead is one of those beers that I never understood the hype. I keep giving it tries when I have the chance but I'm never blown away. Guess just means I have bad taste and leaves more for everyone else
I agree had some 61 and 90 yesterday for the first time. I wasn't impressed at all.
I would step over my own mother to get Olde School.
They got me into craft beer from their show back in the day. It was cool that they were trying tons of different things that I had never heard of. I still try to get everything they release, even if it is usually a swing and a miss.
You must be tall.
There's a yo mama joke here somewhere...
I still remember my first Olde School, took me over an hour to choke that down at the time lol
How can you not love Palo Santo Marron?!?
So many of their beers are just, "Let's see how many wacky ingredients that no one has ever heard of we can cram into this beer!" I do appreciate the creativity and uniqueness of many of those beers, but they tend to be mediocre IMO. However, World Wide Stout and Burton Baton are fantastic, and 90 Minute is great too. I have yet to try 120 Minute but hope to someday.
Oh yeah, that one goes on the excellent list too!
I say we should just annex Hudson -- and run a light rail line out there while we're at it.
I remember back in the day buying a bottle DFH WW for 2.99 and a magnum of HOD Doggy Claus for 3.99.
I'd like to see both breweries back here in MN.
I don't have 2 hours to drink a beer!
The first time I had this and WWS I drain poured them, was one of my first couple craft beers lol
I have since changed and enjoyed a Palo Santo growler from Casanovas mmmm
This is a collaboration beer. DFH isn't in the market.
I'd like to see Two Brothers wheat wine...
DFH makes some solid beers, but a lot of them are just wackey and I don't want to risk wasting money on them. They make a killer pils with pear and aprihop is always good fresh.
Holy discounted Doggie Claws, Batman!
(Brought one to a New Year's party back then. Ooooh, my head.)
Oh! The humanity. Reminds me of a night, long ago at a friend's place, when we were finishing off a keg. I'd stashed a couple of bottles of 1986 Thomas Hardy's in his cupboard, so that nobody would drink them.
I come back the next morning: "Dude, those beers you left here were gross! I had to pour them out... "
(My jaw hit the floor... )
120 Minute is so disappointing. It's a sugary mess (IMO). You may think differently, but I'd share a bottle with 2-3 people.
