There was a feature on a brewer last year or so in the BA mag who spoke about brewing a special beer by throwing cherry pies into the mix. That sounded so delicious and stuck in my mind. I want to say McKenzie but could be wrong...

Right Brain ... their stuff was pretty crazy a couple EBFs ago. They'll be on the invite list.

  5. Nice!
  6. To be fair about eagle most of the beers they brew fit in the extreme theme and I think a lot of the beers I've tried have been good.
  7. Visited their brew-pub last summer. They have an amazing array of stuff. Please bring back the Brain!

Oh, and Cigar City, Funky Buddha, and tell Cascade to make a special keg, just for us! :)

    Jason,
Is EBF moving to World Trade Center?
It's listed as being there on the events page.

Deschutes, Hair of the Dog, DC Brau, Kuhnhenn, Almanac, Jolly Pumpkin, Avery, Evil Twin, OddSides.
  11. There's a bunch already listed I agree with but didn't see Lost Abbey or Allagash on my quick scan. Both were impressive at night of the barrels a couple years back. Also Bruery and Cambridge if they weren't mentioned yet.

    Cascade
    Russian River
    Kuhnhenns
    Sierra Nevada
    Hill Farmstead
    Carton
    Firestone Walker
    CANTILLON
    FANTOME

I would go and be happy with just these.

Yes, but we are limiting the space ... similar to the 1st ACBF in 2008 when we just used the Commonwealth Hall.

Let's keep this on topic please ... there will be other threads or perhaps thread you want to start about the EBF changes. Thanks.

I don't understand the Rushing Duck suggestions. Tried their pale ale and thought it was good enough, but do they even make anything resembling an extreme beer? A wit wih Brett is not extreme. Maybe they have other beers not listed on BA that are more extreme? Good and local is not extreme.
