Damn that tap lists makes me wish I had come down for this release instead.
4 > 4?
Especially since there are still La Muerta bottles available. I'll snag a couple of bottles of Four for you though.
I missed meeting you at La Muerta, I was so dead tired after that long early morning drive. I wont be doing that for a while. I was a zombie that day....and a slightly drunk one at that.
The same applied to me...
What all bottles are on sale right now??
Real Tail 2012
Year of the Bat
Yo Soy Un Berliner
Four will be available beginning Saturday
Is the Berliner a rotating brew or has it just been sitting on the shelf for a while? I'd really like to try it but probably will not make it to SA until late December.
They just haven't sold out of bottles. Pretty good stuff if you ask me.
Just got home from Freetail a few hours ago. Awesome tap selection.
Oak'd La Muerta
Old Bat Rastard '11
Cask Conditioned Buffalo Hump 1840
Old Bat Rastard was awesome. I forgot how good that beer is. I still have a bottle in the cellar - may need to open it up soon. I wasn't that into Woodicus as I thought I'd be, but Peche'cus was great.
I'll be back in the morning for a few bottles of Four.
Peche'cus was incredible!
Do any of you know if Freetail sells branded glassware? I would love to trade for some if so.
They sell pint glasses, I believe $5.
Two types of pint glasses that are $5 each.
Got any photos of them? Or what are the differences?
I had no clue they had glassware! There is now a TX brewery I don't have glassware from....how did I not know this!?
BTW, glasses are not listed on store on website, if they have these...they should definitely add them for online sales!
One of them is pictured on their website. The other is their 2012 "End of the World of Crappy Beer" Mayan design. I wish they had branded stemware. I have way too many shaker pints.
Thanks for the info. Now just have to work out something with someone for one...if anyone wouldn't mind helping, I'm sure we could work something out..
I'm with you on wishing they had stemware too.
Someone should definitely hook duces up, he was personally responsible for a few of the great bottles I brought out to La Muerta day.
I love trading with MD BAs, but unfortunately my financial situation is keeping me out of the trading game until at least after the holidays.
Well let me know when you're back in it. Been enjoying the great stuff coming out of TX.
There are still bottles of La Muerta available as well as the tasty treats of Four and Hopothesis F. Just a heads up.
I asked Scott a while back about adding glassware to the website and he responded by saying that shipping glasses is a pain in the ass (not a direct quote). Hard to argue with that, sending a glass here and there in a trade is OK but for a small company like Freetail, packing glasses for shipping would suck.
I would be happy to mule some glasses if anyone wants them.
Well pester them about a stemware release. ISO:Ananke Tulip!!!
I would be happy with some stemware available at the pub only.
That would be great! Who knows, Scott does read the forums now and then. Since we are requesting stuff, how bout some blueberry ananke? ;-)
The logo is a bat, not a whale. ;-)
Blueberry Ananke is my White Bat
Blueberry Ananke =
Whats your problem with Aggies?
...or 50 lb College Girls.
Also, stemware would be nice. And some sort of fruit Ananke.

Well, it's about time again. The End of the World is near.
12.21.12 anyone going?
I'll be there. Hopefully we'll see some new bottles of something.
I was thinking about it. Are there any details on this? Besides the world ending is there supposed to be anything different going on at FT that night?
Hmm... I'm tempted to take off on the last day of work(before the holidays) to make it to this as well. The only details I've read so far is... "Release of special End Of The World Imperial Stout & hidden gems from our cellar."
...the latter gives me wood!
