Just a quick heads-up. Instead of waiting until we have the bulk of the list ready, @Jason and I are live updating the list this weekend. We'll be dropping in brewers and beers between now and Sunday, with a goal to have the initial beer list up by Sunday night.

    http://www.beeradvocate.com/ebf/beer/

    Refresh often.

I also dropped in the ability to single column sort (ascending or descending) by Brewery, Beer, Style, and ABV. Just click the column headers to sort; and click again to reverse the sort.

    Cheers!

I knew Long Trail had stepped up their game when they released Limbo, but they're bringing a 20% Eisbock, a Coffee Tobacco Stout, and a smoked Berliner Weiss? I don't understand.

There's so much awesome and this is about 1/3 of the final list. I'm ready.

  9. Giddy with excitement! Going alone this year, 9 days before I turn 40, because all my beer buddies left me hanging. I realize now that I was right pressing on alone and hanging with my people all by myself. Friday 3/21/14 will be epic!;)

I'm already drunk contemplating this list. On a side note, this is not a complaint.

Long trail acquired some new space up the road. They told them to make whatever they want.

  12. Very psyched! Me and another BA are hitting up the Sat afternoon session followed by a trip to a brewery and bar or two (or three of four) if anyone wants to tag along.

  20. With the latest additions, this line-up is mind blowing!!

Some must haves (that I haven't had!) for me:

Against the Grain: 70k, Bo&Luke, London Balling
    Avery: Tweak
    Cigar City: Habanero Peach IPA
    Clown Shoes: Billionaire and Millionaire
    Half Acre: Navaja
Hardywood: Barleywine, Bourbon GBS, Brian's Blend #4
Long Trail!!!! (so pleasantly surprised!): Culmination, Double Eisenbock, Smoked Berliner Wiesse!
    Revolution: Deth's Tar, Straight Jacket
Right Brain: Batch 1000, Hefe Cubano
Lost Abbey: Spontaneous Cheer (really, really looking forward to this!)
Toppling Goliath: Mornin' Delight!, Sosus, Sue, ZeeLander
Tree House: Juice Machine (how can this not be awesome!?)

and to think Kuhnhenn, Funky Buddha, Firestone Walker, Crooked Stave, Founders, Prairie and Pipeworks are yet to come!!!

    Unfortunately ...
    • Jackie O's: is too busy with their expansion, and they need all hands at the brewery.
    • Kuhnhenn: had to back out (again) due to being too busy with their expansion.
    • Lagunitas: had to back out (again) due to not having any specialty beers at their warehouse, and their too busy trying to meet demand with their core offerings.
    • Prairie: doesn't have enough beer for the fest.
We've got other brewers willing to take their place.

Oh, and I just added Marshal Zhukov's Imperial Stout - Rum Barrel Aged to the list.

  22. It's great that these awesome breweries are doing so well that they are expanding and having a hard time keeping their pipelines full...but c'mon WTF...they didn't know they were expanding when they committed to this?

The rest of the list is shaping up nicely.

  24. If I wasn't excited enough before, this list is doing it. One question - in one of the other threads, the topic of timed releases was brought up. I've never met anyone who was a fan of these, and Jason had mentioned that this would be a topic of discussion - has anything been decided about this?

Todd Founder (1,440) Colorado Aug 23, 1996 Staff Member

We'll be asking brewers to not due timed releases as it disrupts the fest by creating line and flow issues.

Insight on what 4 breweries are replacing them?

  27. Todd

They were replaced weeks ago by brewers that are already listed.

So, which breweries are yet to be posted? I find myself trying to remember who else was supposed to be coming and I'm not sure... I think Crooked Stave and Russian River were both in the mix, DFH of course, someone else mentioned Westbrook. This list is insane already, just a little greedy.

  33. Funky Buddha, don't remember seeing RR on the list though

Does this list also contain the forum beers?

Todd Founder (1,440) Colorado Aug 23, 1996 Staff Member

We don't announce what's pouring during the forums, but we'll have the speaker lineup soon and our crew will keep the beers flowing during them. Typically beers are from the floor; brewer's discretion.

  39. List is ridic so far. Are there drink tickets or limits like some other brewfests? I have tix for Saturday but didn't anything on drink tickets or anything.
