Hippy Sippy is awesome. Wish they would bottle it
Oompa Loompa is delicious!
No you totally made the right decision. Enjoy By is freaking awesome.
hoping it turns up in southwest ohio (dayton)
I had it on tap last night in Columbus and liked it more than I expected to. I will agree that the body definitely leaves a bit to be desired, though.
I don't often say this, but damn, that was one underwhelming beer.
I would not recommend.
For the longest time, Primantis had 10 or 12 taps of BMC. Just recently, they added 8 taps of crafts (at least at the location near me). Still miles away from flatheads selection.
I agree, had this in Columbus too, at Bob's Bar Wednesday night. The taste is pretty good chocolate / vanilla / stout mix but I thought it was a little thin and a bit overcarbonated for a stout. It would be great on nitro instead.
Live 2 blocks away from the Pittsburgh location, BM me of interested in a trade. ISO anything not readily available in the Western PA market.
Finally got to try this last night on draft and was a bit let down. Very thin IMHO for a stout, it was good but I guess my expectations were a bit higher for it.
I think it's a solid beer. Lower ABV with good flavor. Good after dinner beer if you have already had a few and want something with less alcohol.
ISO some oompa loompa
- One Month Later..I hear there are even some Giant Eagle's that have OLCCS now. Not so Scarce..it's Speckled here and there, but still out there. (It's) a Good one..no doubt, if you haven't had it yet.
I bought a bottle and agree it was underwhelming. Definitely reminded me more of a vanilla porter. Don't know if my taste buds were off, but this one seemed to be missing quite a lot to be called a Chocolate Cream Stout. I didn't get much chocolate at all.
This brew sounds delicious.
It's definitely a porter, nothing creamy about it.
I want to buy this just so I can have Stephan Pastis sign the bottle.
For those who have absolutely no idea what I'm talking about: http://thecomicssection.blogspot.com/2009/04/pearls-before-swine-if-youll-excuse-me.html
