Yeah seriously, All of a sudden a "case" of Parabola sounds attractive for 90$ instead of 180$.

Anyone interested in trading for some parabolas, let me know. Its on of my favorite beer so I tend to stock up on it, probably a case worth or so.

    Cheers,

Harnkus comments in a lot of threads about new BA releases. He always says the same thing, that everybody who drinks bourbon barrel aged beers are dinguses who have been duped into thinking they're good. He just sounds like a grumpy old man.

I for one will be looking religiously for this beer.

Haha Sucaba hasn't even shown up yet...so this should hopefully be available by the 4th of July. Either way, don't think I've got the hunt in me considering how little they send

I'll be buying 6 online like I always do. They won't get it for a couple months though I bet :(

I agree to an extent. I personally like BBA stouts when they're done right. That being said, bourbon does not ALWAYS make beer better.

Buying by the case would be cool. I usually have to go to a few places to get that many. Most places have limits of one or two.

    Parabola is a great beer.

Parabola with at least a year of age on it is something to behold. had 2012 about a month ago and I was blown away by how luxurious and smooth it was. could have drank it all day

We had a FW tasting at a local place that had a keg of 2012 Parabola that they had been sitting on. It was freaking awesome. So far the only thing that I have had that is better was Class X that had been in the barrel for 2 years.

Had a 2012 bottle a couple weeks ago, it was after a Bourbon County Rare...note to self, don't ever do that again...the Parabola was overshadowed by the Rare...and we were pissed that we'd opened the Parabola too...

Two different beasts. I prefer regular Bourbon County over Parabola . Don't think much had to do with it being the rare. Bourbon County is thicker, richer so if anything you guys should of popped the Parabola first.

  28. Wish FW distro'ed to NC. I'll have to hope this arrives in Chicago when I'm there the end of March.

I was able to find a spot that still has a huge amount of Sucaba on hand so I am hoping to go back to the same well to grab some Parabola...anyone know how much more rare it is in comparison?

If the photo of the label on page 1 is accurate, they made the same number of cases of each this year

Now that is a statement you wouldn't be able to make with Parabola. Hope that answers your question.

It isn't more rare, but it sells faster than Sucaba does. I can still find Sucaba 2013 on shelves, Parabola won't last nearly as long.
