Haven't had the '13 yet but I've heard it's drinking great fresh. I'd say drink it now. If you love it, snatch up a few more via trade. Shouldn't be too hard to trade for.

  8. Anyone want to trade some for BCBCS?

  9. I ideally need 3 bottles to keep 3 verticals going.

I'm not a trader, so take this with a grain of salt.

If you want to trade, you should do so in ISO/FT forum.

Also, you are brand new, so be prepared that you will have to send and have the beer received before the trade partner ships to you.

Lastly, if you get to the point where you are going to post for a trade, have read this http://alewatcher.blogspot.com/2010/11/new-trader-tips.html from start to finish. Otherwise, you will get schooled in that forum.

    My bad then.

Your avatar scared the shit out of me, so I clicked on it and saw new on Thursday.

The sleepover part was probably too much info.
  13. Jeff gets really sexy and has opened a Beatification B3 every single time. Super Sexy.

This is drinking so damn good right now. Had one of my bottles last night and it is so scrumptious ! Drink it !
  15. You aren't kidding! Finding even regular BCBS, let alone any of the variants in NJ is damn near impossible because it's gone in a day or 2... Sometimes I hate how good our craft beer scene is because it makes it so hard to get the really limited stuff!

Was hoping to find some this week on my way down to Ft. Lauderdale..haven't seen any. bummer, maybe on the way back up
  20. Sucaba is a good beer, it's just not King Henry. I would drink both of them(hopefully you're splitting these with someone or consuming at a tasting or something) and down Sucaba first.

I don't know, I'm just a guy who likes BCBS and King Henry better than Parabola and Sucaba. That's just, like, my opinion, man.
  21. Sucaba is a terrific beer - it is just not on the same level as King Henry in most peoples opinions. However, King Henry may be the best Bourbon barrel aged Barleywine ever. Just because Sucaba is not its equal does not lesson the fact that it is an amazing beer in its own right. It's like comparing Lebron James to Carmelo Anthony in basketball. Lebron is one of the top 10 players of all time and working his way up the list. Carmelo is not as good as Lebron but is a perennial all star who leads his team to the playoffs every year and has won 2 gold medals and a national championship and will someday be in the hall of fame. Consider yourself fortunate to be drinking either beer on a given day. Cheers!

I picked up 4, could have gotten more but at the price of 15 each it's hard to justify it. I hear some people drinking them fresh and some people ageing them. Does anyone not like them aged? Either way I'm going to age at least 1 of those.

Got one. It flew off the shelves in stores in Denver. didn't look like many stores got it, and if they did, then maybe a case tops. Happy to drink this one on a special occasion!
  38. I had 1 from '12 in the bottle and 1 from this year on tap and they were both excellent but I think the freshness really stood out. Incredible beer when fresh.

  40. Can't wait to try it this weekend. Picked up 3 bottles in the St. Louis area for 12.99 each. Will have to save one for next year.
