    Hi,

I am having trouble with one of my cornys. When I connect the beer line, there's crazy amounts of foam coming out of the post. There is no leakage without the beer line. I wanted to hear if others have experience this, or hear possible solutions. Would it just be a matter of cleaning the post or tightening it?

Have you checked/lubed the O-ring on the post? If there's no problem when the disconnect is not connected, but leakage when it is, and if the beer/foam is coming from under the disconnect, then it has to be a problem with the O-ring's contact with the inside of the disconnect, or a mis-shaped post or disconnect.

I had this problem on two cornys with an Ipa that we dry hopped with loose pellets in the carboy. Pretty sure the residual hops clogged the post and all we got out of the tap was foam, I won't make this mistake again.

Ditto on cleaning/lubing/replacing the o-ring. At under two cents each in quantities of 100, replacement is a no-brainer.
