Torch Pils and Hoppyum just landed at Bottle Revolution in Raleigh, NC. This is a great new development! I hear that Seeing Double and one other (I forget which) will follow, as well.

I think it's great, too. I'm looking forward to the People's Porter six-packs. I could see that becoming a staple in my fridge.

  5. That's great news and only $8.99-6/pk! Time to go grab a case of Hoppyum!
  6. Price? Bottle dates?
  7. Ridgewood wine and beer co. has them as well $8.99 for the six packs. They also just tapped Jade IPA today.
  8. $8.99 is right up my alley! So glad to see them under $9.
  9. I'd love to see their Okto in 12oz form as well. This is such great news!

  10. How about barrel aged Peoples porter in 12 oz bottles? There just isnt enough BA 12 oz bottles.

  11. No dates on them is a bummer.

  12. Just got a 6 pack of People's Porter yesterday for the first time. $8.99

Was bummed about no expiration dates as well......
  13. Guys we just bought a date coder last week so by middle of Feb at the latest we will be bottle dating.
sorry we didn't start out that way, these darn things are pricey.
but I can tell you the first bottle date is Dec 4 on the foothills bottles so by the time we are bottle dating, the bottles we already filled will still be in date and then there will be no question on the new ones with dates.
anyway, so you guys know we are working towards it, we hear ya!

  17. any chance of Jade being bottled sometime? i love that beer.
  18. I doubt it anytime soon...took forever for us (in Charlotte to get it on draft)...but I love being proven wrong on this forum. :)

It's in the works, last time at Foothills they mentioned a hold up because of labeling.

Anyone else wondering what Foothills will use their bomber line for now that their original lineup has gone to 12 oz bottles? We have Seeing Double and seemingly random releases of BA PP, seasonals like Octoberfest. I'd be willing to bet Jade is next up, but after that? I'd love to see more of the seasonals in bombers. It's been a few years, but I remember really enjoying Total Eclipse stout.

It's funny how, in about a year, 95% of my #ncbeer purchases have turned to FH and OHB. Keep the good stuff flowing guys!
  21. What they need to bottle is the BA Total Eclipse. That was very tasty.

As in BASC or what? Either way, BA stouts in 12oz bottles are AWESOME!
  27. It could be BA Foothills Stout (which Ive never heard of). But BASC would just blow my mind.

I think Jamie is replying to this post (i.e., talking about the possibility of Barrel-Aged Total Eclipse Stout in 12 oz. bottles, which would be pretty sweet).

Can you get Foothills in Nashville? I was in Knoxville and was surprised to see the Torch Pilsner on tap and 6 packs of something. I didn't know they distributed to Tennessee at all.
  31. I expect it's the BA Foothills Stout. I've had it several times back when it was Total Eclipse, and it's very good, one of my favorites from Foothills.

  33. It's been available in kegs. I've had it at a couple places in Raleigh.

Which ones? Peoples Porter is also in 12oz bottles, and I forget whether there's a 4th one...
  37. 6 if you count cottonwood. The people's hoppy torch and endo strawberry blonde.
  38. Bluecane

Bluecane Initiate (0) New York Dec 30, 2011

    Peoples Porter
    Strawberry Blonde

Is this right? And what's the missing one?
  39. Extremely happy Foothills is bottling and dating their beers. NC has a lot of good breweries, but very few that produce year round six packs with bottling dates and good quality. NC has extremely limited access to the breweries accross the state. Great to get another brewery botteling and dating! cheers
