grand rapids bottle shops?

Discussion in 'US - Great Lakes' started by craft_shannie, Feb 9, 2013.

  1. heading up to grand rapids area & will likely be able to hit founders, bells, vivant, dark horse, and new holland. obviously missing out on some other MI breweries (this time). any recommendations as to the best bottle shop in the grand rapids/kalamazoo area to pick up some jolly pumpkin, kuhnhenn, etc?

  2. Siciliano's on the north west side of GR, International Beverage on the east side of GR both have a good selection. Repete's in Holland Mi is decent. Unfortunately, most of the sought after beers go in a few hours in all of these locations.

Mega-Bev in Kalamazoo....just west off the M43 exit off US131....self proclaimed biggest store in the state....great beer selection!

    Have a great trip!

I've never seen Kuhnhenn in any of the shops around the area, thats not to say that Scilliano's doesn't get any. Although they do have a good selection of the year round and seasonal Jolly Pumpkin beers

Smitty's specialty beverage is worth a look, as is Kingma's Market on plainfield

  9. I've picked up some Kuhnhenn from them before, but it appears in quite limited quantities. They did have about a half case of the Braggot when even the brewery was sold out.
