How many different beers do you have?

Didn't start this to start a bragging contest or anything, just was thinking and became curious about how many different beers people have in their cellar/collection.

I have 34 on my gots list, which seems like a ton to me but I'm sure there are guys who have five times that many if not more.

So, whip em' out and see who has the biggest... Or something.
  2. I have a 12 pack of Brooklyn Lager and a bunch of homebrew. Did I win?

Nothing to win, not a contest, was just curious how much stuff people keep around.

    104

I oscillate back and forth between "that is a lot" and "that is nothing!"

I'm definitely running out of room at 34, and several of those are single 12 oz's. Can't imagine the type of cellaring space some people must have.
  6. 1/6th barrel of a local on rotation every 2-3weeks. In the morning my wife gauges my beer consumption by the 1 glass in the sink instead of that tattle- tell recycle bin.
  7. Minus homebrews and fridge beers, I have 42 different beers currently, although I have multiples of some.
  8. Over 100. Thats all I know. I went a bit crazy there for a little bit but I've started to slow down now.

Need to drink more and buy less...

Currently at 44 bottles, not including some homebrew. With those, probably at 50.

I live in a 100+ year old house, and the basement is a labyrinthine dungeon. It's most excellent and spacious for cellaring. There is one "room" where the oil tank used to be, that is totally dark, very cold, and about the size of 4 large fridges. Blessing and a curse!

    Cheers!

Guess I will up the ante. I have over 400 bottles in my cellar, but some of those are multiples. Also have roughly 2 cases that need to be inventoried and put down there.

I havent counted, but I have well over a hundred bomber bottles and numerous cases (BCBS, Backwoods Bastard, Brooklyn Choc.). I find myself having a hard time drinking the hard to find beers (unless I get multiple of them). You know you have a lot when your wife is pressuring you to drink more of your beer.

Far too many as a husband. .. far too less as a BA
  25. Not too many. I tend to lean towards hoppier fare, and drink stuff in pretty short order.

I do have 4 packs of Breakfast Stout and BCBS to share with some friends over the holidays.

  34. Different beers... about 120 or so. That doesn't include verticals and multi's of the same beer.

like, 7? like, 12 if you count stuff I can't drink because it's for a trade?

I now see why no one on this board gets drunk. No one drinks their beer, they just lock it in a basement. Fun....

  39. Around 200 bottles, and about 150 different beers in varying sizes. I'd say 90% are 22oz or larger.
It got out of hand quickly. I quit drinking for four months, but continued trading and buying.
  40. Probably around 250 bottles of definitely less that 100 different beers.
