  1. Planning to travel along I-75 Christmas week and am looking for stores that sell beer I cannot get in NY. Any help is appreciated.

If you aren't familiar with SeekABrew, the site allows you to compare distribution in a given state to your own.

Based on your post in another regional forum about traveling I-81, I assume you connect to I-75 in Knoxville. Tennessee requires beer above 5% ABW / 6.3% ABV to be sold in liquor stores, so in some places you'll find separate nearby bottle shops and liquor stores.

My BA friends who've gone to Beverage World in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia swear by it. It's just across the state line from Chattanooga, about five miles from I-75.

I don't know what's south of that area.

If you want to take a different route back to I-81 from Atlanta, the Greenville Beer Exchange is a nice store in SC, and you'll also pass through Asheville where there are other good establishments.

There is a Liquor Barn right off exit 108 in Lexington, KY. It's not the best place for limited/rare releases, but it's less than a mile out of your way and should have beer you can't get in NY.

I will also steer you to Beverage World in Ft Oglethorpe, Ga. Great selection of beers from the South, and great guys to deal with. Well worth the short distance from the interstate..
