As of right now the following places will see kegs: El Bait, University Library, Keg Stand, Confluence, Zombie Burger, Captain's Quarters, and Dublin Bay.
On the bottles,What do the quantities look like? Is this going to be a "be there when it gets there, or miss out" beer?
Bottle supplies look similar to Enjoy By supplies. Having said that, with this being a completely new release from Stone I would expect it to sell out pretty quick. I don't think it will be a "be there right when it gets there, or miss out" beer but I do think it will be a "be there within a day or two of it getting there or miss out" beer.
Southeastern iowa will see it on friday if your stores get delveries that day otherwise next week
Excellent. Pretty sure Oakland Rd Hyvee gets Friday deliveries.
Fresh TG Dorthy's Lager bombers have hit DSM shelves today. Sounds like this could be the last time that beer is ever bottled in bombers. Will be 12oz. bottles from here on out!
Also, some stores in DSM have gotten 2014 Barrel Aged Old Rasputin today.
Nice! I will have to be on the lookout in CR then.
BA Old Rasputin may be one of the most outrageously priced beers in craft beer.
Yes, I heard $20. That's absurd but I really want to try it. And it's only a 500ml right? Seems as if there's also the 2011 cellar reserve, which looks enticing as well.
Ya, last year it was priced at $20 for 500ml. Ridiculous. I'd rather try the Cellar Reserve i think, but not at that price.
Both are great beers and while not necessarily worth the price they are worth trying. I'll buy both when they hit the eastern side of our lovely state. I just drank my last bottle of the 09 cellar reserve a few months ago and it was excellent.
Yeah...I'll pass on the BA Old Raspy in the bottle and will get it on tap when it inevitably comes to El Bait Shop.
Saint Somewhere beers are now available on Iowa. I think they are new at least? Abu Nawas I'm assuming? They've brought in so much awesome stuff lately.
Beer Crazy has carried Saint Somewhere beers for well over a year, but maybe they are showing up in more places? I think they are distributed with Shelton, which is Abu Nawas.
Has anyone seen KCCO lager on the southeastern part of the state???
Yup, shelton brothers
CB is expecting to see the BA stuff.
DSM will be getting 7% Sue on Monday. It will be available at the "usual haunts" according to @tgbrews.
Awesome news! Thanks Brent!

Has anyone heard when Stone Stochacisity will hit central Iowa. I heard the Stone truck was delayed by snow. Hope I spelled it right.
Don't know when Des Moines will get it. I picked up a bottle in CR the other night. Not much was said on Facebook or Twitter about it being in. 2 bottle limit.
Let me know how if you like this. Sounds good, but is it worth the hype?
At first I thought, "Smells, tastes, looks just like every other Stone beer I've ever had." With about 10 minutes to open up, the beer really changed and HUGE bitter citrus notes exploded out of the glass. It was a really nice beer and I enjoyed it.
Don't know what you're paying there, but Cellar Reserve is going for $22-$27 in the Twin Cities.
But it's damn good.
Worth it for at least one buy, IMO.
The new 7% Pseudosue is hitting Dsm today
Stone Grapefruit Slam has hit the Ankeny West Hyvee. I'm assuming it hit the Dsm Hyvees as well probably.
Cyclone has Sue on the shelf today too.
It seems Abu Nawas had 12 bottles of Black Damnation I - Black Berry Albert & Black Damnation XII - Nuptiale. I got a case (6 bottles) of each for my store in CB. Does anybody know where the other bottles went? They had some cool new stuff the past couple weeks too. Happy to see a Fantome beer on the order form too!
The last Fantome I had was an abomination. That being said I'm going to gamble again
It has been years since I have had a "fresh" Fantome... what was left in my cellar was tasty. Hope this will be up to par.
When did he deliver? We're on the same route as you and haven't heard from him about our order.
I'm very excited about all this Fantome hitting CB. Saison weather is right around the corner, believe it or not.
This is happening in Cedar Rapids on Saturday. These 5 and 20+ other Bells beers will be on
Parlor City Pub & Eatery

Also Lion Bridge Brewing Company (Brand new CR brewer) will be pouring samples across the street at the NewBo Market from 10-1
Has anyone heard any new rumors about Dogfish Head to Iowa? This was a big topic of discussion a little over a year ago or so, but I haven't heard much since.
I heard they are now available in the Quad Cities, the Illinois side. I was surprised by that so maybe they are on the move. My understanding of their business plan is that they are trying to sell more beer in existing markets, while moving their footprint as little as possible. They have been in Illinois and are probably just filling in some gaps. Obviously things change, but I think if they do come to Iowa it won't be soon.
They are available in the Illinois Quad Cities.
dang, i picked the wrong weekend to venture up to cb... i take it the upright stuff is gone already?
