Where are you at in NC?
Prices around Lejeune were never that insane.

Looks like you need to find a better/different shop.

Paid $25 + tax in Seattle. Won't do it again.
Also, I'm done buying anything from AleSmith, as their beer is fantastically overpriced and highly underwhelming. I won't contribute to the price gouging anymore.

Total wine west Ashley had it for $18. I took the last one off the shelf two weeks ago it was hidden behind a bunch of other stuff. I was super shocked as well.

Weird! Must be batch #3. Last 2 batches were $25-26 at TW in West Ashley. Awesome find btw!

    ...Yep.

Evil Twin's beers are already too expensive as it is, in my opinion. Yeah they're awesome beers but holy hell.

The most I've paid for a bomber is $20 and I'm embarrassed to say I've done that three times now (well, really once, the other two times it was on sale).

We get the non-BA for $17.99 cheapest I have seen it so I would gladly pay $25 for it any day of the week.

Yes, it's too much for any beer.

Wow, I didn't know that Beer Advocate brewed a beer in collaboration with Evil Twin!

As for the price, if you're willing to pay it, it's worth it.

I think it was $21 in Binnys when it first came out last year. Not worth it if you ask me.

That's actually a pretty normal price for BCBS in many places, it was usually closer to $30 around here. $13/btl KBS is insane, though.

Is €18 too much for a BA Vanilla Shake ? If you want it, fuck it.

I would probably hate myself for supporting the store at that price.... Then quickly forget all that when I opened it and realized it was one of the best beers I've ever tried.

And not to threadjack but I can't seem to find any concrete info on the release schedule of this beer... Did they recently release another batch of it? Cheers!
