I'd say...the WWS needs more time in the cellar.
Having a really light colored, hoppy stout. More of a pale ale it would seem...
Mmmm...celebration. Not very good at stout day. Ah well. Cheers all!!
Started with a Bell's Kalamazoo stout, then meeting some friends at a bar that has Green Flash double stout on tap right now.
Went with a 2011 Older Viscosity.
BCBS out of my kickass new glass.
I consider this to be a fruit forward stout.
I'll be out of work soon to pick up some Celebration and hopefully Narwhal. I might also get some Brooklyn BCS.
My son, a former viewer of "The Backyardagans" has been waiting for me to have this beer, singing "yeti, yeti, yetiiii!" I just say, "Mmmmmm."
Abyss 2011, here we go.
The 11 wasn't all that when it was fresh but it's drinking great now.

My homebrewed Imperial Stout
I found a pack of Narwhal today, but I think I'm going to have this later tonight.
Still in the D.C. area, but managed to find a stout.
Pre-aged, why thank you random wine store in Reston, VA.
Chilling, only 3 would fit.
#4 is well... delicious!
I'm having Narwhal. I could always chill a 2011 Ten Fidy, but I'm waiting for that can to be exactly one year old. This coming Wednesday will be the day.

My first ever BCBS. Delicious. I've been into craft beer 5-6 years now and have wanted to try it for a long time. Kinda glad it's taken this long - doubt I would have been able to appreciate it as much several years back.

I purchased a bottle of Smuttynose Imperial Stout (Vintage 2008) when I went to the brewery for the Herbaceous release last month. I decided today would be the perfect day for it.
Super fruity and sour - delicious!

Well I was planning on going to the Southern Tier Tap Takeover tonight and drinking my face off on all of their stouts, then some dumbass rear ended me on the way home. Lesson learned: always go straight to the bar directly after work. It's safer.
Instead of the Southern Tier stouts, I just poured myself a nice Aún Más a Jesús.

Mikkeller Beer Geek Brunch, 2010. It's been in the fridge for two weeks waiting for today. That'll go with Stout braised short ribs. (drool.........)
