Logsdon Seizoen Bretta. Damn, that shit was tasty.
Just have to add another thumbs up for Zombie Dust. Had it on tap at FFF, awesome. Bartender said the bottles sold were fresher than the keg, took home a sixer and it was even better. Delicious.
Kuhnhenn BBBW - Best beer I had in 2012.
Ballast Point Victory at Sea Imperial Porter. Victory never tasted so good!!!
I was expecting a lot out of Courage Russian Imperial Stout, and boy did it deliver. Now I need the inner strength to age a few.
Kind of a tie...Backwoods Bastard and Jacks Abby Smoke and Dagger. Both were just that "oh, yeah" moment and I had them a few hours apart.
This summer, Stone Ruination.
Cant tell ya why, but those are three that come to mind.
Schlafly Pumpkin Ale, I don't enjoy this style at all but couldn't stop opening them up. Simply fantastic and such a great surprise.
Founders Breakfast Stout oh jesus
1997 3F Oude Gueze with Armand.
Beatification the other night. That is one sour beer.
I had Wake N Bake for the first time this year, so that. Also, a few weeks ago I had the Passionfruit Berlinerweiss from Funky Buddha. Incredibly sour and delicious.
I agree, had it for the 1st time on NYE and was blown away which shouldnt surprise me since all the Samuel Smith stouts and porters are homeruns in my book. Guess because it was organic, I didnt expect the same quality.
Flying Dog Gonzo Imperial Porter totally caught me off guard last night.
Puts many a "stout" to shame.
Trappistes Rochefort 10 - I thought I did not like Belgians, but this beer was fantastic.
I had my 1st W&B too, and I like it better than FBS.
Going to have my first WnB this evening, looking forward to it
Both my choices are from flying dog! And both were had on tap at The Nova in Hudson WI
BA Gonzo 2011, wonderful tasting beer really looking forward to the bottle i have in my cellar now!
Nelson Sauvin single hop double IPA, This is one of the best ipa's i have ever tasted hands down. I will pay anything to have this beer again!
GI Bourbon County Cherry Rye- holy sweet fuck that was an amazing beer.
Olde Hickory Lindley Park and Cascade Apricot (my first great sour).
