  1. Lawson's Finest Liquids Farmers Market and Anniversary Party April 20th in Waitsfield, Vermont:

2 brand new brews and plenty of favorites.

  2. Sounds like a good time. Might be too cold to camp somewhere, so where to stay???
  3. Do a Mad River Valley Lodging search.

Hostel Tevere is a great value and a great place.

  4. Seconded. They may even have a keg of Lawson's on in the pub.
  5. Nice, will do. I stated on 100 in Waitsfield about a few weeks ago in a giant 18 person sleeping home with pool table, 4 fire places, and jacuzzi. So this might be a bit toned down ha

Mad River Inn is a little bit old school B&B but Luke, owner, has allowed 1 night stays in the past when everything else was 2 night min. Affordable for the area. New owners of the 1824 House Inn just moved out from PDX so they can appreciate a good beer hunt and may be accommodating re: price and number of nights.

I went last year and it was dope. Certainly worth checking out if you can make it, great beer, solid food and some cool music - and as always an awesome turnout.
  8. I was there too. Jared and I drank many Heady Toppers in that house!
  9. Larry, this sounds like a good trip. Those heady Toppers were fantastic in the evening. But made for some foggy famers market lines and Sugarbush snowboarding!
  10. Any idea how crazy this'll be? Seem to remember the last farmer's market was long lines, shut outs etc, but I'll be in Burlington that weekend so interested, but not so much in a crazy scene...

Any idea how far out the limo will go? Is Waterbury out of the question?

  12. Waterbury is quite a distance from the event, so I would guess no.
Tickest system will be implemented, so should not be a problem.
  13. Best Western!

We would love to stay in Waterbury, but definitely don't want to have to drive back!
  15. I hear ya. there are 9 of us staying at the Best Western. We plan on piling into cabs there and back. You're welcome to join. It's not that far from the playhouse to the hotel. 20 minutes maybe?

We've got 3, ill talk to the guys and see, I'm thinking huge bottle share after!
  18. Nope not on the playhouse property, license prohibits it.
  19. This sounds great, if we're still standing.

We actually plan on bottlesharing there Friday early evening, and then walking to the bars.

My crew isn't planning on heading up until Saturday, but if that changes we will definitely be in!
  21. Sounds awesome man, just let me know.

Also, if anyone else wants to meet up for a little bottleshare at the Best Western on Friday, just let me know.

    so in on this.

Day job is ending the week before, so I'll have weekends off completely. My apartment is too small for that many people, unfortunately, but the BW is a great place for a bottle share!
  23. Dude, I already had you counted in hahaha

The last BW bottleshare we had ended up being pretty awesome!

  24. Online tickets for the evening party appear to be sold out.

Since this is Lawson's own Farmers Market there will be plenty of glassware including stemware, t-shirts, hats and other swag so bring plenty of extra cash.

  25. Are their bottle sales cash only?
  26. anyone in need of a ticket?

My wife may want to come, how do you transfer these tickets?
  28. ill be there, i had a buddy bail on me
  29. Don's a good dude. I did a trade with him at the last Lawson's market.
  30. Yes, there are ATM nearby
  31. Oh man! No bottled Bourbon Fayston tho :(

I assume bottle sales will follow the established ticket system? If so, what time will the tickets be handed out and where can we expect to find them? Thanks!
  33. Joe said that it WILL be the ticket system. Not sure on time though. Probably noon or 1
  34. Will any beer be held in reserve for sales at the ticketed event in the evening? I'd rather spend the day hiking, if possible, rather than in line waiting to buy beer...
  35. Great question.
  36. Me and 3 of my buddies are going up that weekend and staying in Waterbury. We want to visit The Alchemist and Hill Farmstead on Saturday. Hopefully we can make it work that we are back in time for the beer market.

If they are going to use a ticket system, it would be awesome if we could get the tickets around noon, head up to Hill Farmstead and then come back around 3 for the beer market and still be able to purchase bottles.
  37. Just got this email from Sean regarding the ticket scenario.

We will be handing out tickets for a place in line shortly before 2pm, but you can expect that there will be plenty of Peril Imperial IPA, Double Sunshine IPA, Spring Fever Session IPA, Maple Nipple Ale, and Toast Black IPA to satisfy a very large crowd. There will be a 4 bottle per person limit per beer.

So how does this ticket system work?...in particular, for someone who doesn't get there until 3 or 4.
  39. i better not have to show up at 10am to get a good spot in line to get a ticket to stand in line.

  40. That would be stupid, beer sales start at 2pm.
