    The last one is disappointing.
Little to no distro within their own state but they can be found in NY and now the evil empire is going to carry them?
Good for the brewery, I guess.

  3. 4D is probably the highlight for me. Really interested to try it. Chaman will be nothing new to most BAs close to Quebec, same with Trois Mousquetaires. HopWired is a great beer but I don't know how it'll travel. A few other good releases on there too. No complaints.

  4. Is that BA4D or regular, and which Panil is it?

Regular 4D would be my guess.
I WAS going to BIF an Ontarian without access to K some of this. Not now.

It's a Kuhnehnn knockoff called Kehnhenn!

  8. Forum on BT said it was DEFINITELY not the BA version.

No indicationon the Panil, but I'd be willing to assume it's the Sour version we've been getting the last few years.

Wow the 8 Wired is cheaper than Alberta, an awesome IPA with all hops from down under.

  10. Regular or not, i'll be glad to try this.

  11. The more I look at this list the more disappionting it looks.

  12. Kuhnhenn > ALL ELSE. Jealous.

  13. I know Michigan isn't far but isn't this a first for Kuhnhenn? That should count for something. If Long Trail had a barrel-aged beer at the SAQ, i'd be all over it. Yes, not every beer is a winner but i've heard good things about 8 Wired & Thornbridge. I would sure like to have a few of those, even if seasonal, over here. I wish the SAQ would take a page from LCBO's book and do this kind of seasonal releases (although they have slightly stepped it up in the last few years).

  14. Spring release? looks like just another week here in Alberta;)
6$ HopWired? I know what I'd be drinking

  15. God I hate the LCBO.

  16. 8 wired HOpWired is one of the best IPA available in Alberta if you ask me. just love those NZ hops.

  17. Noticed that some are starting to show up in stores, the Panil and Lakefront Bridge Burner for example.

  18. Seems like a pretty ordinary release?

  19. Hopwired is cheaper than Australia and New Zealand. Buy it.

  20. $8 in MB and WELL WORTH IT (and I'm cheap)!!!

BUY THE HOPWIRED! IMHO BETTER THAN FURIOUS!!

  21. I'll vouch for Hopwired as well. It's a world class IPA that can hang with the North American big boys.

  22. 8 Wired products are $9.99 and up in Alberta...........I'm not cheap, but $9.99 for a 500ml bottle of not so fresh product scares me off.

there is lotso stuff better than furious.

  24. No.

Maybe a bit, not "lotso" assuming that means "Lots of".

    YMMV

    Sure there is.
I can count on two hands how many better beers I've had.

  26. Well...at least the Spring Oddity is back.

  27. a different spring oddity

  28. Another entry?

  29. agree, I think so, as different ingrediants this year and planned every year

  30. Two hands is nots "lots", that's ten. As always for IPAs & DIPAs was it fresh? Also other than Heady & PtE which other 8? Just wanting an education on what beers I should be desperate to try...

  31. There are also a few others coming out in March according to the LCBO site and they are calling it the "Craft India Pale Ale" feature, available at quite a few stores unlike the Brasserie Dupont feature. Amongst others:

    322016 Samuel Adams Latitude 48
    330845 Elysian Immortal IPA
    324210 Founders Centennial IPA
    319798 Philips Hopcircle

I know Founders was mentioned elsewhere here but wasnt sure if the others were.

Also more Green Flash coming in #306993

Hahaha, I only have 2 hands. If I had more I'd count more.
Don't get me wrong, Furious is a great beer. And I had it fresh. But I would not use it as a benchmark to compare against the best IPA/DIPAs available in the US.
Abrasive, Sucks, PtE, DRIPA, Zombie Dust (labelled an APA), HopDevil, Hopslam, 60min/75min/90min, Arctic Panzer Wolf, Double Jack, Deviant Dale's, Dreadnaught, Simcoe Silly, and more.... all of these I rated higher than Furious. Again, its a great beer and I wouldn't kick it out of bed.

Founders Centennial is a solid IPA. A little miffed because this expansion Founders has done is leading to Centennial hop shortages for homebrewers in some areas.

  33. Yeah, different ingredients list.
