Have a layover in may for a few hours and was wondering what kind of beer they have available, also do they have good Togo beer for sale to drink on the plane? A friend made some suggestions, just figured I'd make a thread too.

    Thanks!

No to go beer as far as I know. Ike's seems to be the best in my opinion since they always have Surly and some other misc stuff on tap.

They have bottled or canned beers and they make you open and pour it into a plastic cup. Had a SN Torpedo this way a few weeks ago.

So there is no craft beer you can bring onto the plane?

Not from the vendors on the concourses, other BA's may be able to elaborate on where to get something but I am pretty sure if you search the midwest forum for a past thread you'll find your answer. Not sure if a duty free sells anything or Surdyks Flights sells primarily wine but not sure with beer.
