I recently had Left Hand's Polestar Pilsner. That hit the spot pretty well
  6. A good Gose...e.g.,

    Lost Nation Gose
    Off Color Troublesome
    Bayerischer Bahnhof Leipziger Gose

    Or Berliner Weisse...e.g.,
    NEBCO Weiss Trash
    OEC Exilis

  8. THIS!
  9. Anderson Valley's Gose is my favorite this summer, especially when I find it at the grocery store for $7.99/six pack. Gotta love it. Plus, always happy to drink Fremont Summer or if I'm really feeling like opening one, any of the De Garde bu's.
  10. Had this yesterday and it was awesome

Wicked Weed Coolcumber. I thought it would be subtle, but it was pure fresh cucumber, right in your face. Like a great mixed drink, this beer pushes all of the buttons with a great beer, with Belgian-like originality (vegetable well done and spices). Completely refreshing, easy to drink, and allows room for more than one.
  15. This summer it has been Westbrook Gose.
  16. Founders All Day.
  17. Hands down, for me, it's Abita's Strawberry Harvest. Just a great refreshing with a hint of strawberry on the back-end. Crisp, delicious and not heavy at all.

I bought some Anderson Valley Gose a while back and got thru the first couple ok then realized this beer is really horrible so i tried giving one to my brother in law, he got about halfway through and dumped the rest. Some beers that keep lingering around in the fridge i finally use for cooking like in a chili but this one i don't know.

I recently got a Westbrook Gose. Drank it on a hot day, and it was perfect. I should find Anderson Valley's gose.

Fiddlehead's Second Fiddle is not only the best IPA in the Country,
but it is also a great Dog Days brew. Very hard to come by.

I'll be trying Revolution's Anti-Hero and New Glarus Scream pretty soon.
    Maybe I'll change my mind.

Oberon is surprisingly good for the heat, but I'd still go with Rodenback Grand Cru or maybe Sour in the Rye

In the heat of south Texas, the only true beer that makes any sense this time of year is Weihenstephaner original. Light, full of flavor, and with this heat, makes you wish you were in Bavaria!
