I would host, but I'll be watching it from a bar stool at Societe
My place may be an option if there aren't others ( I live in a quaint 1br apartment in Uptown with my gf and dog). Are there any places that allow outside bottle shares. If not we can get a bar list going
My place may also be an option. However, I live downtown, and there isn't a whole lot of parking for visitors so it might be best somewhere else.
New Bohemia is the only one I'm aware of.
We don't have to go to a place that allowes bottles shares if we aren't sharing bottles. We could just bring our tourney beer in for the winners, and drink house beers.
I'm a regular at a couple places, and could ask them if they'd host us.
I'm up for whatever....beer wise that is
I'd throw out the Red Cow (assuming they allow BYOB) otherwise I'm in Maple Grove so someplace in the general area would be preferable.
Yard house in St Louis Park perhaps?
Maybe I'll just let you all watch it at my place anyway. It would be easier for everyone to leave all of my winnings that way
I could potentially host a group of people but I live in friggin Rosemount!!!
Do have a house though, big screen and a pretty good cook of a wife
If I sink into a deep and dark depression after tonights games... I will my cellar to this group.. Go louisville and MSU!
How do tie breakers work?
Usually it is closest total score in the final game. I'm pulling for a UConn and Kentucky final!
My beer life is in ruins, stupid MSU, go KU and UConn
Leezy, could go to last to first if Wisco wins pretty crazy!
So is there any consensus on where to meet up to exchange beers and/or watch the championship game?
It looks like it will pretty much come down to the championship game (unless WI and FL both lose, fingers crossed ).
A few options for the game
- I have no plans for the game and would like to catch a drink or two for the first half at a bar. Open to suggestions as to where
- If anyone wants to host that works as well
A few options for Beer: As stated before, will probably come down to the championship game
- After 1,2,3 are decided , Winners will pick accordingly ( 1,1,1 ,2,2,3,1,1) *if anyone has objections/wants changes to this let me know*
- If a BA has offered more than 1 bottle they will not be split up, its a package deal.
1) Each member is responsible for getting their bottles to either Me (I'll proxy) or The winner that selected their bottles
I will probably not be able to make any kind of a meet-up because of some rental house issues (as in the tenants left it a shithole and I need to put all my time into it to get it ready to be re-rented).
Whoever takes the Rye Wyne '11 with the central waters stuff BM me and we will figure out a way to get the beer to you.
That ends it guys.

4th place is fun
Crazy tournament, here is the final beer list. Id like to go out and watch some of the game tomorrow, also a good time to try and exchange some bottles. Let me know what everyone is thinking. I was hoping pats tap still ahd rum king on, otherwise Im open to ideas.
Edit: If you know you cant make it out tomorrow, send a message to whom you need to meet up with
Looks like Deadbody can't make it so I will just connect with him. I might make it out to meet you guys though...50/50 chance at this point and if not will get Doner24 his. Let me know where and if people are going out!
I definitely can't make it out tomorrow as I am out of state for work until next Monday.
What time are we meeting up at Pat's Tap?
I get done with work at 6:30 I will try to be there around 7:15
Pats Tap tonight for the game I hope to be there around 7:15-7:30 (I'll be wearing a blue Patagonia Fleece and glasses), Rum King is still on tap, They have TV's she didnt know how long it will last, but thought it would be on through the night. I need to set a meet up time with Doner to exchange, so if anyone needs me to get him beer its an option.
I won't be able to make it. I need to set up a time to give Doner my beer as well.
For those that I need to meet up with. I live in Maple Grove, work in Eden Prairie and am in Minneapolis frequently. I won't be back to MN until next Monday though. Feel free to give it to EJJ otherwise if that is an option.
Looks like tonight wont work. Everyone is responsible for getting their beers where they need to go. If anyone has any questions let me know. It was a lot of fun, hope to meet some of you in person soon!
Bumping this back up for the start of the new tourney.
Selection Sunday is coming up, which means the tournament will start exactly a week from tomorrow. I'll be setting up a group to do a pickem, 1 Entry per person, $20ish Worth of Limited release beer, payouts will be based upon how many join , but Id like to take care of 1,2, possibly 3 , as well as a consolation bottle for the Highest Round 1 score (In case of a tie, 2nd round scores will be added to the first rd score.) If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.

This is awesome. I'm in.
This was fun even though I lost. In again because someone has to give beer to the winner.
In, thanks Eric!
