Just came in today and... damn tasty!
    Sessionable as hell.
I think I could kill the six pack tonight.

What is this new Albion you speak of?

Thanks for the feedback. I had it when it first came out. Tasty? Yes it was. back in those days, it stood out. Today? I doubt, if it's the original formula, that many BAs would be enthusiastic about it but I, personally, can't wait to try it again. Subtle flavours...I can dig them.

Can you post a bottle photo?

Thanks for the link T&B; good story I was not aware of.

They had a New Albion Ale (a pale Ale I believe) at the Rare Beer Tasting at the 'Koop during GABF week. These the same?

    I would imagine so.
It's a damn good little session beer, but it's more about the pedigree than the actual beer, though.
If you go to the Russian River taproom, sit at the bar, and look up on the wall over the entrance to the brewery, you will see the original wooden sign from New Albion.
That speaks volumes about the influence of the brewery.
  9. Should be the same. The gal working for SA at their booth said that beer was to be released in 2013.
