When a restaurant of this magnitude does this, you know that people are really starting to take craft beer seriously. Bern's has THE most extensive wine selection in the world, but they can't ignore the craft beer crowd :)
  4. Love Bern's. The epitome of craft.
  5. Exciting News, thanks for the update!

I bet it's the same base as Leon and BA Church, which would be totally awesome....

Apple Brandy, Cognac and (hopefully) now, Bourbon treatment on Church on a Hill.

It may well be restaurant only from what I've heard. If so, it will take A LOT to grease those servers/bartenders to part ways with a to-go bottle.

Amazing restaurant! What a thrill to have an amazing BA CCB Stout with some prime beef!

  18. If this doesn't hit distro or brewery only release...I might have to go to this joint for a steak and a beer...and I live in Philly.

Got to say, a BBA barleywine seems like an odd choice for a steakhouse. Not exactly the beer I'd pair with a dry-aged steak. You'd figure with Bern's reputation with wine, something along the lines of a wine-barrell aged beer might be a better fit. Then again, this is probably a one-off and David likely wanted something that would age along with the rest of his collection.
  21. All aboard the hype train!!
  22. I was at the brewery when this was still in barrels.
  23. It was aging at the same time Josh, i remember those barrels they just said Burns on them i just thought they were just another set of BA big sound.

You should just blanket this statement on every beer in the beer release forum. God forbid, someone wants to try or can get excited about a new beer that comes out. I'm sure you think the new (insert beer name here) is thin and artificial tasting.

D you know if it has been bottled yet?
  26. Wrong, all ccb beers should be hyped. Leon was amazing, I expect nothing less from this bourbon barrel monster.

Dude nic, you suck bro. Worst trader ever. Get your shit right...jk man...can't wait to kick back some RareR with you next weekend...
  32. This will only be sold at Side Burns. Its going to be going for 70 a bottle or more I was told. It did just say Burns on the Barrel. But they are going to leave it in the barrel much much longer than the BB BS. They are going for a very extreme taste in this one. I have a feeling this ones going to have a lot more Hype behind it than it calls for.
