Thanks for checking that out. And funny thing is it now brings back the conversation I was having with my buddies that have it last week and he was saying the same thing about the confusion. I'm still gonna clarify some of the story with him tomorrow. Thanks again

It never occurred to me that it was so simple. Tomorrow I'll dust off the grain mill, track down a barrel and have at it.

  4. Isn't this the "old" "new white whale list" anyway? I thought there was an update that ended up being the Top 100 project AgentZero posted a thread for.

I believe that is the same beer. Most was sold on draft and supposedly 12 1lt swing tops were bottled and waxed.

Anyone actually drink them? Or are these only for collecting? Serious question.

People drink them. Had a cable car last month, a Blabaer 3 weeks ago, and am going to crack an Armand and Tommy this Sunday along with an Uli blend and a B2 through 6 of Beatification.

I don't have any of these beers on this list, my social standing and worth as a human being must be the lowest of the low...

I need to see a picture of a sealed Mozart bottle. Might just wet myself.

Seems like the beer is likely over the hill. Similar to my bottle of Cantillon Framboise from the early 1980's.

  31. Where are the first two 750 mL bottlings of Cuvee de Tomme? Easily one of the rarest beers out there and insanely delicious if you were lucky enough to try it. Doubtful that any bottles exist, sadly.

Just because its .rar doesn't mean it should be on the list. How desirable a beer is also comes into play, and I never see ISOs for the first two batches of Cuvee de Tomme. Nobody cares

Haven't seen ISO's for Le Woody brune but I wouldn't say nobody cares. I rarely see ISO's for 00-05 LP Geuze and those beers are drinking far better than any grrzzkriekdruivenblabarcrap i constantly see right now in ISOs, so I wouldn't use the trade forum as a barometer for anything other than the decline of generosity in the community.

Yeah, sorry to say, but not many care about Woody brune, either. I do see ISO across the different trading sites for 00-05 LP Gueuze, so also disagree there.

  37. Please don't be unfriendly, re "nobody cares". Thanks.

  38. And I would absolutely trade something like my last Blauw if someone had one of those early-batch 750ml Cuvee de Tommes to offer, FWIW.
