That also said, people need to realize that the Mayans predicted the end of the world, and it didn't include you not getting bottles from a beer release. Deal with it.

You know, I probably have the single best view of beer that there is, and that is, if I get to try it or buy it, I will. If I can't afford it, or I miss out on an opportunity to try it, it's okay, there's plenty of other beers out there for me to buy and/or try. It's not the end of the world if I miss out on the hot new wale, it's not the end of the world if I don't get the most recent trade bait boner, and it's certainly not the end of the world if I don't have the money to go to a beer release at one of the best breweries in America.

Stop whinging and whining, drink a beer, and act like advocates, instead of hate filled, self absorbed dickholes.

With that out of the way, I'm going to open a Blackout Stout. Respect beer, remember?

    Cheers.

By the way, the attendees of this event are the worst. Can you believe that 4 of them saw my tongue in cheek ISO post from earlier in this thread and had the audacity to offer me bottles for NOTHING IN RETURN?!

I dont think I got a chance to try it on tap, and when I came home I realized I only had one bottle of it (despite buying a full allotment). Also, I smashed a BBA Brick Kiln on my basement floor the other day. Ugh.

Do we have any more details on Oaky? I was curios what the ABV was, what kind of barrels, official style?

If I'm an idiot, tell me.

"...[The next bottle release is set for August 17th - the beers to be released are Dynamo Hum, Chunga's Old Bruin, Evelyn, and possibly Barrel Aged Aberrance.
The next Staff bottle, Mahogany Lush, will be heading to the blending tank in the next two weeks and will be available at the August 17th bottle sale as well."
