sherm1016 had these waiting for me on a recent trip to Milwaukee
Had a box of MN awesome plop on my porch yesterday courtesy of Schlais. You killed it Ryan!
Most recent trade with TheHooch minus the BCBS, cant wait to try em all!
then heres the whole collection minus a few HF Saisons and randoms
Dated between 1972 and 1986
That's killer....exactly the type of haul that I like to see....
BTW, the last couple bottles of that Guinness Silver Jubilee that I've opened were absolutely delicious. Almost took on a nice smokey sweetness over the years. Infinitely better than any fresh Guinness that I've had.
Damn, really? Can't wait to open it now, especially as it was only £4
I've actually had quite a few great experiences with a whole slew of Silver Jubilees.....only a few duds out of maybe 20 or so. The Guinness was one of the bigger surprises as expectations were immediately low. I'd assume that the original base recipe had something to do with it......perhaps similar to the Foreign Export.
I'd encourage you to track down an Ansell's Silver Jubilee if you have the means. Still one of my favorite "uber-vintage" beers to date.
A few goodies I picked up this morning.
The moment of anticipation:
followed by the big reveal:
Evolution #3 x 6
Green Flash West Coast IPA x 4
Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA x 6
DC Brau Corruption
Boulevard Double Wide
Terrapin Oak Aged Big Hoppy Monster
plus 2 of the trader's APA home brews!
Had a vague idea what my end of the trade was going to be.....didn't expect it to be this sweet! Thanks Evan.
You *should* be getting another box o' joy today as well. Hopefully, not too many repeats!
Schlais is a good buddy of mine. He's the man!
Cheers for the tip, i'll keep an eye out for it
That's vanilla maduro in the middle. Thanks Seth!!
Heh. The case label looks like a "reverse Kronik"
Get it? Even at $10 a bottle, I had to get 2.
The Old Guardian is an 09
Nickle is looking for the 2 missing bottles.
Thanks to dolfan54fl
Awesome box from r0nburgundy69!!
Jeff is a great guy, especially for a Dolphins fan!
Stocked up on these. Putting them away for future consumption.
BTW, If anyone is looking for a trading partner in Florida, I'm more than welcome. I'm trying to expand my horizons.
Got 3 trades in today. Big thanks to dolfan54fl, 67couple, and jamvt. All great traders cant wait to trade with them again.
Intended to post here first (vs. What RU Drinking . . .?)

Nice little haul....
Beautiful enough to make a man cry.
On the waiting list for Hopslam, still waiting on word if BN will make it to my area.
Really hoping BN makes the rounds, wife's b-day is in two weeks and this would make her a lot happier than anything else I could get her (great wife!).
1 x Roch 10
2 x Anderson Valley Oatmeal Stout
1 x 4pk Terrapin Wake-N-Bake (had to add to my other stash of WnB)
2 x North Coast Brewing BA Old Rasputin XV
2 x Oskar Ten Fidy (last on the shelves)
1 x 6pk Victory Storm King Imp. Stout
2 x Black Xantus
1 x 4pk North Coast Brewing Old Rasputin
2 x Great Divide Oak Aged Yeti Imp. Stout
Don't want to tick anyone off, but can I paint a picture of my latest haul? My fridge looks like this; it's lop-sided by 13 beers (singles)...various stouts, weissebiers, ales, and several bombers of IPA's (good stuff too, Lagunitas, Founders, Bells, Victory, Stone, North Peak etc), all pushed to the very back by my 16 (two down already!) fresh as could be Hopslams (OK, quite splitting hairs...they are only nine days old), all lined up in the front in nice rows and waiting in the queue for consumption. I've promised myself only 18 this year (I've got other stuff to explore), and promised too to drink only one daily until they're gone, and supplement with the bunch in the back of the fridge. And why not, it's my stinkin' favorite beer! Everything else in there can wait. Who know, maybe this weekend I'll cheat and have two at a sitting. This stuff is off the charts!
You scored! - I just took a road trip to WI & struck out on the Belgian Red
Couple awesome trades and what I picked up from the store.
