Gotta love the BA's from Cali..
There are only 3 stores you need to go to in St. Louis for beer. Randall's on Jefferson (big place by the interstate), Friar Tucks, and The Wine and Cheese Place. Between the 3 you can usually find your west coast stuff you can't get over here in IN and OH, as well as a fair selection of Belgians.
Im a simple man.
Thanks, bmb! Thanks to all of the BA's, in both post and conversation, that have assisted me in my quest to quaff quality quaft brews! If I ever qualify, and decide to get into trading mode, y'all shall be remembered! Cheers!
got something to do this weekend...
Made a quick trip across the border into Ohio yesterday.
12 x Hopslam
3 x Arcadia BA Cereal Killer
3 x Arcadia BA Imperial Stout
4 x Founders Imperial Stout
Where'd you go? I'm in the Pittsburgh area and I was thinking about making the trip into Ohio sometime soon to try and grab some Hopslam as well.
Vintage Estates in Youngstown had a bunch.
thanks to 2 amazing traders:
the growlers are: Double Galaxy, Susan, and Earl
Yes Boardman not Youngstown...
Did you go to the Brewery to get the Alpine? I was in San Diego recently and had trouble finding some.
It's the weirdest thing that a guy from TX would actually know that. lol
I went there about 3 years ago. I wasn't near as saavy about beer then and wish I could go back. It was a neat little shop with a great selection.
Sadly we don't have a shop like that in Houston.
Indeed I did. Beverages 4 Less also had some Alpine bottles, I stopped there after going to Alpine (and that's where I got the Pliny and Blind Pig).
I'm jealous. Love to get Alpine. It's such a small footprint for their stuff.
Its the most wonderful time of the year
Trade from Zbeetleman.
Awesome box - thanks!
We were extremely worried this box was going to freeze (there must've been a beer angel along for the trip)
1 x Lindemans Peche Lambic for the wife
2 x Delirium Noel (What the hell for $5 each)
1 x 6pk Bells' Expedition Stout
2 x Ballast Point Victory at Sea Imperial Porter
1 x Bluepoint Brewing Old Howling Bastard Barley Wine
Trade box was waiting on the porch when I got home, this will be my first Three Floyd's experience and I'm looking forward to it. Not to mention the fresh Hopslam extras I'll be drinking shortly. Thanks!
Not a haul, but a nice lil Surly 'collective'...canned 1/8/13 and fresh as can be for a CO guy.
12 Dreadnaught, 3 panzer wolf, 1 more murda'd out, 1 3 week old palate wrecker, 1 at her majety's pleasure, and one Mikkeller Frelser... It's been a great two days.
So fresh. Picked it up early this morning and it was still cold from being on the truck. Now into the fridge, so it'll never have even been warm. This is remarkable, considering Ruination 10th was about three weeks old when it got to Arizona (but still incredible).
Call this premature..but I couldn't wait.
Just ordered off halftime, picture when they arrive
8 x BCBS
2 x Speedway Stout
3 x Peche Mortel
had to pass on the 120 Minute @ $12/bottle
Just got a great trade from an awesome BA:
2012 Abyss x4
Jackie O's Dynamo Hum (a perma-want)
Marble Brewery Bourbon Barrel Imperial Stout
Then a trip to the local packy yeilded Firestone 16th Anny and some Lagunitas Sucks - off to a great week
Twas a great day
A family friend just came over from Denmark and brought me these gorgeous specimens. Life is just a bundle of joy!!!
Five of the eclipses are likely going to another BA, but a nice looking haul nonetheless!
3Gallons worth of new equipment for tweaking recipes.
Was super psyched to hear that Super Kitty got released in 4-packs!
(Not a "haul," but pumped on this bad boy.) A quick shout out from a homie led me to this. 1 per customer and $10, but after searching for so long, it's easily worth it.
One of the best hauls yet...thanks MEW!!!
Two kick ass boxes showed up today thanks to great trade partners.
King Henry, Hill Farmstead Juicy, 2012 Bourbon County Coffee, Hardywood Gingerbread Stout
2012 Dark Lord, Hill Farmstead Mimosa, Biere de Norma, Civil Disobedience 4, 2012 Bourbon County Coffee
