So for Christmas I received Midwest's Hop Head Dipa extract kit as a gift. I opened the box on 12/26 and thrrew the hops in the freezer. This past weekend, I relized when I cut opened the box, I also cut open one of the packages of whole cone cascade hops. After discovering this, I promptly put the package in a ziploc and returned to the freezer. Should these hops be good to dry hop within a few weeks or should I just pickup an extra oz to be safe? The hops still smell good but I'd rather not ruin a batch over a couple $$ worth of hops.

You should be okay if they smell good still. They were in the freezer, but exposed to air, so it's only half bad!

It wouldn't hurt to pick up another ounce if you can locally, add it in there too for good measure, but I'd think you are fine.
