So where's the guy with the Bigfoot label tattoo on his back going to put this?
It's about F'in Time they released BABF! Way to be right on top of a trend SN!
30th Anniv BA Bigfoot, as posted on SNBC facebook page...750ml...B.O.L!
On his chest and stomach of course.
Anyone know what distro will be like? Im in NWI and ill be incredibly pissed if we dont get this.
4 Years in Barrels!
More than a year later, our 30th Anniversary Bigfoot emerges from these whiskey barrels and is as complex as ever. The limited 750mL bottles will hit select stores early 2013. We hope you find one!
I live in Chico lets see if they will have it at the gift shop.
Damn. My beer guy is going to hate me again...
Time to call up that ex-girlfriend that lives in Chico...
Think this one has made Whale status before it evens hits the public !!!
Damn I might have to trade a King Henry for one of these if I can't find one.
I really hope to see this one come to CO, but have been a little disappointed lately with distribution to our state. We have a huge market for Sierra Nevada beers, and it seems that we aren't even getting much Narwhal, despite other states receiving bottles. I don't get it. Hopefully we get the barrel aged bigfoot.
There won't be any barrel-aged Narwhal in large distribution. We made 15Bbls as a pilot batch and put that into bourbon barrels. It will be draught only, but probably limited to high-end festivals and such. Barrel-aged Dubbel and Quad are Chico-only releases in the bottle, and limited draught has made it outside of Chico and is out there now...Again VERY limited.
BA Bigfoot will be packaged in the next two weeks and we need to give it a month to bottle-condition (12.2 ABV!) so we're looking for a late January release. Again, this is also super limited 100Bbls...some states are only getting a handful of cases so this one is definitely going to go really fast.
Any idea which states will be getting them?
12.2%... there goes my hope for Ohio
Don't let it get you down. If it comes out in late January, we'll be busy drinking Hopslam anyway.
i can always hope to score some from connections in MI pending their allotment >.<
If its been anything like the 2012 distribution model, they will release it to the states furthest away first.
Some might trickle into California, Nevada months later.
Most states will be getting some (depending on ABV caps...sorry Ohio) but most states will not be getting much.
Thanks for the info! Can't wait to grab a bottle of this.
Can't wait to not get a bottle of this! #chicago
oh no! bigfoot is my wife's favorite and one of mine as well. fingers crossed this won't be as tough to get as it sounds. we are still waiting on Narwhal in NY (LI).
Once it gets there it'll sit around like everything else does
I'm I Ohio and am willing to trade 2 4pks of Narwhal for a big bottle. Any and all takers are extremely encouraged!
Really hoping I can find some of this or trade for at least one bottle. Please come to VA!
Not sure of the release date...but im excited
I had the wine barrel Dubbel two weeks ago and was blown away. Cannot wait for this one to hit.
I thought the Ovila BBL aged would of had a wider distro...
Hoped I guess
I'm going to guess no price point yet?
I tasted this one year at GABF, it was fucking rad. Sure hope I can get a bottle here in CO.
That sounds freakin awesome! Chalk one up to me if it makes it to MN!
Wow, SN really screwed you guys by not rounding down 0.2%, haha.
MSRP is $14.99
EDIT: In CA, at least.
SIGN me up for a dozen at least !!
you're telling me! just hope i can find it in a MI trip
anyone know what kind of whiskey barrels?
If I ask nicely, can Massachusetts get Ohio's share? Please and thank you.
For some reason we pay an extra $5 on Sierra Nevada 750's in CO so I guess it will be $20 here.
I would do unspeakable things to get one. Unspeakable things...
