Glad everything made it safe, and I hope to sweet baby Jesus that there's still some bubbles in that Hop Venom! ;) A couple sidenotes...the KBS is an '11 (I prefer mine with some age on 'em), and the Double Daisy is from the 1/18 release. And then I realized I was sending all these Midwest hop bombs, so I had to rep the PacNW with those cans! A few of my go-tos...I hope you enjoy!

Haha, you got it sir! Here's hoping Ray-Ray shan't be denied in his final game... :D

I was just able to crack the Hop Venom this evening, again a great many thanks to Matt (exitmusic00) as it's perfectly carbed and off the charts great !!!! Probably one of the BEST IPA's I've ever had the pleasure of.

    Cheers!!!

  12. Wow a lot of nice boxes dropped and quite a few "no shows." I bet if those who haven't shipped yet had won they'd be crying the blues right about now. Funny how winning expands patience and losing shows character or lack there of... Jus sayin' We all joined on the same premise... Just wanted to say its not on you Flex, some folks just don't "play fair."
  13. FWIW, I have received tracking #'s for my final 3 boxes. There are a lot more boxes left to drop though...
  14. Not giving people excuses, but the weather this time of year can certainly cause some delays.
  15. Yeah forgot about that. I ran a few Sunday night squares pools a couple seasons back and it always seemed that there were 2-3 who wouldn't ship (those only had 10-20 people). I suppose communication is the key.
  16. My box was scheduled to land on Saturday, but looks like it got delayed.

  18. my box going out monday, i apologize for my tardiness not gonna make an excuse, but i am in no way going anywhere and will provide a tracking number on sunday
  19. Mine is slated for tomorrow barring any sort of delay.

Not quite sure how this is possible, but a Penguin dropped a serious load on my balmy Florida porch today. Really strange how a box of beer arrives and is somehow STILL F"IN CHILLY so I can crack a Surly and it's right on time for happy hour here. Great many thanks to Penguin3200, here's the crimescene:

  24. Damn it I knew I was risking that glass.

Per my previous post , I've already cracked the chilled down Surly Furious and Abrasive. Con Mucho Appreciado, mi northern frozen amigo. It was very kind of you to send the previously chilled happy hour cerveza at 4:30PM on a Friday. My FedEx delivery guy and I both thank you as he was very happy to share the wealth!!!!! Looking forward to the Midnight Ryder X 2, haven't had this but looking forward to it as is my homebrew brewing partner. I'm a big fan of all things New Glarus , hence the Apple Ale and the very sweet NG tasting glass also gets a workout this weekend. Central Waters Barleywine and Cherry Stout also have an Over/Under of a very slim chance of making it through Super Bowl weekend as well.

    Cheers, you chilly Penguin bastard!!!!!!!

    Happy Super Bowl weekend!!!!

Yeah the igloo is a bit cold for the cellar, but it has its upside.

Getting a barleywine warm is a bitch though.

I just updated myself on this thread, I have been shocked by the quality of boxes that have been delivered but I had no idea there were still a few MIA. Does anyone know how many boxes are still left to be delivered?

Eh, shit happens. The box looked like it took some abuse in the trip.
  31. :(
  32. I think a lot - I count about 15 or so having dropped out of 27. I know I have 3 landing next week, and johnyb surely has a bunch still coming...
  33. Box #5 of 7 dropped from California by way of SP23:

    750ml Alesmith Decadence 2012 (nice!)
    22oz Alesmith Nut Brown
    22oz Alesmith My Bloody Valentine

Great stuff - we only get limited Alesmith distro out here so I've never even seen the Nut Brown or MBV.

    Thanks!

A glorious assortment of Minnesota brews hit my porch today.....appropriately delayed due to the ricockulous Ohio weather of late.

    Surly!! (Cynic, Bender, Hell)
    Lucid (Dyno, Foto)

Just an FYI, I am out of town till Friday and at least one box has arrived this week that wife is there to take in. Saw some tracking info that others will arrive today and tomorrow. I will post the new arrivals on Saturday when I get back!

    Cheers!

  37. Well, box #7 of 7 has arrived. The fates were tempted by shipping 7 boxes to New England in the winter, and while the first 6 were successful, #7 sprung a leak. Fortunately the bottles were ziplocked, so the mess was contained. There's enough beer left in the bottle that it might still be ok, but it definitely froze and leaked out the cap...

    The haul:
22oz Three Creeks Stonefly Rye (the leaker)
22oz Three Creeks Fivepine Chocolate Porter
    22oz Oakshire Ill Tempered Gnome

  38. Got my final installment from iasanlee yesterday. Was super stoked to see this one made it without relinquishing to the elements, been chilly over here on the "right coast."

Epic 22 Brainless on Peaches (get them once in a while in VA, looks interesting, can't wait to try)
Epic 22 Brainless on Cherries (ditto the earlier comment)
750 ml Boulevard Chocolate Ale Batch 1 (excited to crack this one)

Thanks to iasanlee for the nice box!!!
