You mostly want to try high point beers?
Sadly the standard price for craft where I am is 11.95 - 15$ - 6, but you can buy a 24 pack ranging in the 40 - 45$ range. Not a lot here is in 4 packs...
Yeah I understand trying to keep the price down, and I dig the 4pks ... But not when the 4pk are starting to go for $14 (Looking at you Palate Wrecker and 3 Beans).
I'll tell you what I'm sick of. Every brewer who moves a sixer to a 4pk claiming they were never making money on that beer in the sixer. Like we're fucking morons that'll believe anything
I'm not sure i would believe that, unless the folks at Founders have stopped liking money.
I just went and checked. Founders website under news scroll down to seasonal line-up two season six-packs and it is there. 6-packs $9.99
Maybe they have stopped liking money, or they've already made enough. That's awesome. I'm sorry for ever doubting you.
It's cool, how could I be upset about anything when FBS is so cheap.
I was thinking Bigfoot when this thread came up. It use to be $12.99 a 6-pack in these markets. Now the 2013 is in 4-packs at $9.99. Not a mathatician but I feel the consumer lost this one.
Title of this thread is really funny. As long as its a solid beer I could care less about the formalities.
I'll take a 4-pack over a bomber but a 6-pack over a 4-pack.
Indeed. I go to my preferred store, which carries better beers only, there's hardly a 6 in sight. But down the street at the bigger place that carries macros up to geek stuff, 6ers and 12's abound and 4pks are the minority.
