True, would be sweet to see Don Juan (before the dawn + coffee) at the release. They brought out a keg for Halloween. Really good stuff. Hope to see you all there! Ill still be wearing the black North Face and Packer Hat

I know this year could be a totally different animal, but should we expect a long line today?

I have a limited time between leaving work and picking up my daughter and am not able to stand in a line for a huge amount of time.
  6. I believe the fact that the release is at 3 and a lot of people will still be at work then will keep the line down somewhat.
  7. Oh, I will be wearing a black dress shirt and jeans. Also I will be with a short blond girl. Feel free to say hi. I always like to meet new people.

  8. Gonna stop by on my way home from the airport. Probably around 5:30ish. I'll be in a black and grey coat and jeans. Hope to meet a few BAs in person!
  9. Ill be there around tree fiddy

IF the last few Steel Toe releases are any guide, there'll be a decent line right at 3PM but little to no line once the early arrivers wind their way through. And break those kids in early - mine are beer-line-standing vets, I believe their first experience was for Surly Two bottles.

This sounds like fun. Sadly I am going to a beer, wine and vodka tasting for my niece and nephew's swim team.

My daughter is 18 months and very active. I would never be able to bring her to a line, but she has been to her fair share of tap rooms.

The other problem is I live in Albertville (hate it and the housing market has stranded us out there). The easiest thing for me is to swing through after work. Just hoping it is relatively quick so I can pull it off.

    Is this cash only?
  14. Nope. Cash or Credit per their Twitter account. Will be a separate cash line though.

    Good question.

I know when I picked up size 11 and another time a growler, they took credit.

I hear the cash line generally moves a bit faster.

Also ,Per a Steel Toe Fan Boy friend of mine, the brewery isn't EXPECTING to sell out.
    Again , that's all foresight

  23. o_O That is why all limited released beer is still sitting in liquor stores at 3pm every day. lol ;)

I will be there today as well. I'll be wearing a red & beige flatcap, glasses and the ubiquitous MN craft 'beerd'.

I'll be there tomorrow (probably) just hoping to try on tap my beer budget is <$0, if the item I'm looking for is in stock out that way, if not I'm gonna try Sociable Ciderwerks out.

To pull this off topic for a bit. Niko Tonks has been brewing their nano-beers since it opened. And they have been awesome! Is heading down the road to his baby Fair State Brewing. Does anyone know Sociables plan with him gone?
  27. I am not going to make it today. Please leave a couple bottles for me tomorrow!

Question, when do the food trucks show up on Saturday? Do they come when the tap room opens at noon or later in the day?

The line was long, it seems manageable. I just couldn't gauge how fast it was moving, so I decided it wasn't worth the wait for me. On my way home empty handed.

I overheard they made 1,650 bottles, so even at 4 per, thats roughly 415 people (Very safe to assume not everyone got 4). Id venture to say it will be around through the weekend

Edit: Also should mention this is a very tasty brew

I heard he was heading outta there, so that's what his doing. Nice... no clue what the plan is but I've heard such good things about this place and I've never been (heck I've never been to any of the NE breweries and my mom lives RIGHT THERE... I'm a terrible human being). Ok Game On!
