Teku Glass Master List

Discussion in 'Breweriana' started by yeahnatenelson, Nov 24, 2012.

  1. What drove me to put this information together I don't know, but here's the list of all branded teku glasses (that I could find):

    Alla Spina
    B. United
The Lost Abbey - Sinners Club
    The Lost Abbey - Standard
    Three Floyds

    Bier Index
Birra Baladin (original -- sorry, no good pic of base)
    Birra Baladin (new base)
Birra Moretti (Note: no measurement lines; only marking on base)
    Brasserie Du Mont Saleve
    Brauerei Lahmsteiner
Braufactum (Note: no measurement lines; only marking on base)
    Braukunst Live!

Thanks to fellow BA's whose pics I stole. If you have better images of any of these glasses, please post. Ditto for any teku glasses I have missed.
  2. damn you have way too much time on your hands. Nice job, but damn you need another hobby.

  8. Hi I have just ordered a Brewdog Teku glass from Brewdog,I may look at some trans-atlantic swaps when I next place an order with Brewdog if anyone is interested. it may be a bit risky sending glass via postal service. I am from the UK. I have just noticed on Mikkeller's site that TØ-ØL now have a teku glass, thought you may like to know for your list.

I don't know if they sell them. You can ask.
  13. That would be the plan.

Nate you have fueled my fire! I will serve Teku at some point, maybe only for a few select few bottles, but they will say "The Fitz" and "Michigans' Northernmost Craft Beer Destination" on the side. Yes sir.

This is a glass style I'm lacking in but would like to get one. I see Lost Abbey has the glass on their shopping site but it is listed as sold out. Is this something they usually have in stock and I just need to check often?

Yeah, keep checking back. It's in and out of stock relatively often.

  30. Yep. The original teku had fill lines and more stylized script and no Baladin logo. Wish I could find a decent pic...

Tried to snap a decent picture of the OG Del Borgo teku this morning....

  32. I am assuming this one is straight from Italy and not available here in the U.S?
  33. Knifestyles

Knifestyles Savant (445) New York Jun 7, 2005

Not entirely sure, but I did acquire it in the US from a bar that was pouring the original batch of My Antonia. I'd imagine they got them from B. United rather than Del Borgo directly. This was several years ago, of course.

(FYI, this was given to me by the bar...I did not take it from the bar)

  34. Ah ok that is really cool! I will contact B. United again and ask! B. United does not have a web store yet so all inquiries have to be sent my email and such. I will tel you the best glass I got from B. United was the Hitachino glass! A rare drop for sure!

Ah! The funky wavy one? Those are great. I would love to have a stack of those just for the casual drinking of liquids (milk, juice, beer, castor oil, etc).

The thing that bothers me most about the "1.0" (and it's a small gripe) is the unsightly seam that runs across the middle of the base. The fill line is a nice touch, though.

Great glass. Gets pulled out at tastings pretty frequently.
  39. I have contact with B. United International so I will shoot them an e-mail asap, but they must be busy because I sent an e-mail a couple of weeks ago but no response. Of course it was the holidays so understandable.
