Hell yes! LaCumbre Elevated IPA. Liquid Gold!
Columbus Brewing Co's Bodhi IPA is ridiculously good. It reminds me of Sculpin, but way better. Word on the street is that they will finally start bottling it in January. If they do, search high and low for it!
Citra PA by Odd Side Ales is very good.
This gal right here.
Was coming here to say this. Great beer and one of my go-to IPAs here in Louisville.
All the IPAs/ APAs from TG are incredible. For those of you that can't roadtrip to HF.... make the trip out to Decorah... well worth while visit. You won't be disappointed.
Rhinelander Imperial Jack Double IPA
Tasmanian IPA. Wow, it blew me away. It's now one of my favorite IPA's
I have to spread the local love. Deep Ellum IPA is great IPA not well known outside of Dallas....
Those from the Midwest probably know about it but I'd say HopJuice Black by Two Brothers. One of the best Ive ever had
Horny Toad IPA, Mogollon. Not Best, but damned good.
After I walked out of the brewpub I would have said Devils Backbone 8 Point...after getting a bottle of it in trade I may regret that statement
Fat Heads Head Hunter IPA
Mayflower IPA (Plymouth, MA)
Heavy Seas Loose Cannon (Baltimore, MD)
Hoodoo, Midwest Wet Hopped IPA, from North Peak Brewing. Whew!
I really like Sacred Cow from Arbor Brewing Company. Its based in Ann Arbor Michigan. I know no way of getting it to Cincinnati
I get growlers of IPA from a local vineyard/ brew house called westbend vineyards in lewisville NC. Doesn't even have a name and is very new. But a fresh growler for 15$ at 8.5 abv and it's very good.
Galaxy Pale Ale - New England Brewing Co.
Only served in growlers and on tap at a few local pubs... Although I love my Ghandi Bot, sometimes I'm more in the mood to drink this absolutely delicious concoction.
What a shame for all those who have no access or distribution of this fine beer. It is very disheartening.
another vote for schlafly tasmanian ipa...one of the most easy drinkng, tasty beers around.
here in las vegas we have big dogs brewing . they make the wardog double ipa. all killer no filler
Cigar City Jai Alai...all the way..
I'm no expert on IPA by any means but i thought Fat Tug from Driftwood was really great. I see only 64 reviews on BA
I think the Overhead is even better
Just came back from Portland and was floored by any IPA/IIPA from Boneyard Brewing. All delicious!
good beer but everyone knows about Sculpin
Flat 12 bierwerks, Indianaolis
Half Cycle IPA
Good call. I'd also throw in Rail Splitter from Triton, also out of Indy.
Size 7 from Steel Toe out of St Louis Park, MN
Yeah overhead is awesome as well.
Fresh Schlafly AIPA is stellar.
Wow! I just read 6 pages of this thread hoping to be enlightened. A grand total of two of the beers mentioned are available in Texas.... Southern Star Pro Am '12, which was a limited that was brewed a couple of months ago and was totally amazing. Had one tonight and unfortunately, it's taken a serious dive.
...and Alpha Dog, which I bought the day it arrived at my store...very mediocre.
Either I need to move, or I need access to better IPAs.
Oh...and St Arnold Endeavour is world class.
this is tasty for sure
This. This. This. Was lucky enough to have it last year when I was in LA and it was phenominal.
A beer named "thai ipa" sounds like one i'd love to try. And a like for the Greenbush sampler.
