    I'll start:

    Lagunitas Yakima Wet Hopped IPA
    Mammoth's 395 DIPA
    BCBS BACKYARD RYE

Probably Kelpie (made with seaweed), but more might come to mind as the thread progresses (or I might get reminded of something I am trying very hard to suppress.)

    Orval immediately comes to mind.
Heady is truly unique, as well.

Nothing else really leaps out at me as "unique." Exceptional? Best in class? Often imitated? Sure. But unique? Not too many beers, really.

This topic is always coming up and my answer is the same - Iron Hill Oak Aged Old Tom. I don't think anyone remembers that beer but it was awesome and odd.

shoot, probably half of the odd dogfish head brews I tried should go here. can't recall them, because honestly, I didn't like most of them.
But their ancient beer recipe re-creations definitely belong here.

Wicked Weed Coolcumber--basil, juniper and cucumbers; all the flavors meshed so well and it was very refreshing; keep an eye on Wicked Weed!

Can't remember the brewer, but I recently had a brew from Germany that was a smoked Berlinerweisse. Great stuff!

A toss up between the already mentioned Kelpie or the Fraoch (made with Heather).

    Sixty-one.

Aside from it essentially being a wine-beer hybrid, it's the only beer that isn't an imperial stout that my wife will drink. So that's unique!
