really hope this doesn't release in June, March or July would be great.
I just hope it's on in the taproom for awhile. Even if I can't make it to snag a bottle, I'd head down there just to have a beer or two.
Clark - you guys continue to do an amazing job. Here's to hoping I can make it back for a release or 2!
By the way, the Xhop series was terrific.
Not that history always repeats itself but I don't believe they have kegged off any of their BA beers before.
Doesn't this simply create multipule smaller shit-shows?
Interesting, so they haven't had them on tap at the release parties? They have plenty of other good beer, so I wouldn't be too disappointed, but...
KBBS was on tap for the release. They also had MD on tap and Assassin bottles for sale for on-site consumption! I had all 3. It was a good weekend!!
I knew they had tapped MD which of course isn't BA. Didn't realize they had kegged any KBBS.
After reading this thread ..... Wow. Just wow. People seriously need to relax.
But that's not very fun. You have to have some sort of complicated logistics plan up your sleeve.
Hey, I know how to run a brewery better than the owners dammit !!!
Might be the wrong place to ask this but does anyone know if TG will fill 32 oz growlers?
I know they used to, but I think I have heard that they don't anymore.
They're tapping a keg of Assassin at Hunahpu Day this year.
I thought I read that they will be pouring samples of Assassin from bottles, but everything else would be kegged.
Not sure if Iowa laws would allow it. But I can only hope some CCB shows up at AD.
I'm sure I missed that. Assassin shows up on the Hunahpu Day master taplist so I assumed it was a keg. Sorry for the misunderstanding, especially if what you say is true.
No keg of Assassin. There will be Mornin Delight there though and Mornin Delight on at the taproom in Decorah as well.
I think i'll take the keg at huna over the taproom...nothing against the taproom....I just need a break from this snow...
Thanks for clarifying! Apologies.
On tap at the taproom the same day as Huna?
Yes. I wish we had more teku's as I doubt they'll last until then.
Yes. Yes they did.
SR71 on tap as well. All this was spent by 8 AM!!!
I loved the SR71!
The SR71 was very good. I had it at the Assassin release. I passed on it at the KBBS release and had 2 MD instead.
Well, we said why not have an extra fun day at the taproom.
There will still be a MD keg tapped at the taproom in Decorah on March 8 (as well as at Hunahpu's Day), this keg is just extra.
What are the chances of Teku's lasting until Monday? No way for me to get there until then.
Is anyone there right now? I'd love to see the teku and know how busy it is. I'm contemplating driving down tonight from Minneapolis
I went to the tap room today and had a nice chat with Clark and Mike. I picked up a couple tekus and a pile of Sue and Sosus. To top off the day, Mornin' Delight was on tap and dammit if that isn't a world class brew. Incredible.
I wish I could have made down today, but the weather had me at work late.
Did you get to try King Sue as well? If so, how was it?
Tasty stuff! Grapefruity bite along with citra flavors!
Doubtful MD will still be on tap on Sunday but I'm beyond excited for King Sue! Any new TG beer is a must try, and the Assassin teku's are icing on the cake. Heard case limits were upped to 2 per person as well, just in time to spend all my money on Sosus
I did not get to try KS. The keg wasn't there yet when I was and I couldn't stay long.
Another 1/6 bbl of MD will be back at the taproom March 8th according to TG's twitter
Hopefully King Sue will be put on tap at Casanovas.
What time did you have to leave??
