Damn yes. Up the Irons baby! Only a pour of this from Steve Harris himself would sweeten the arrival!

Shame the beer will never be anything more than mediocre. (I've nothing against Robinsons -- they're just kinda' boring.)
  9. Same here the Let's Build a Rocket Boys was just like Elbow
Inoffensive MOR AOR slightly above average filler
then again considering how bad KISS beer was
tho my friend mantains that AC?DC beer id drinkable....
  10. Anyone ever have the General by the Rifles - brewed at Titanic?
Never made an effort as I wrote it off as boring when I heard about it !
  11. Not forgetting Steel City Brewing's black metal, punk and goth beers
  12. Also Jester King Funk Metal and also Black Metal

Up the irons! and the mugs!
  14. I know I saw this on my facebook this morning! Look at it this way, We BA's often know about a beer's existing before some distributors and since joining this site I have scored some limited edition beers I would otherwise not have. Too bad my pocketbook is not a fan.
  15. An RIS called Number of The Beast would be cool.

    Also, anybody tried Slayer wine?
  16. Also Alaska tide and It's takers
  17. I hope it's red then when you pour it you can snarl
raining blood from a lacerated sky ;)
  18. Oh er!
Now did I miss the other Trooper thread or is it because of the time differences?
  19. I fucking love maiden, my favourite band of all time and Bruce is probably the greatest man that has ever walked the earth.

I'll buy this beer, even if it is shite

  21. I am a metal head but I think I will make sure I get's me Maiden beer on cask to get it at it's best
oh will want a bottle purely for the label
  22. Gotta be better than the Terry Pratchet 'Discworld' 4 pack I had earlier in the year.
  23. Love Maiden but if Dickinson was beer smart he'd get Eddie to do the brewing.
russpowell, Ruds and EmperorBevis like this.
  24. I don't know why Bruce picked Robbo's
probably they are are mid sized brewery that brew real ale though
this place is closer to Dickinson's birthplace
are they not big enough or too goth looking lmao
  25. I looked at the site & thought I might give the
Hix’s Darkside 7% a try if I saw it, never did see it.
Surely you can't go far wrong with an aged oatmeal stout???
  26. Yeah he said in the video there were a couple of smaller places he'd like to do it with, but none seemed as serious about doing it as a long term thing as Robinsons
  27. Actually, the oatmeal stout wasn't bad. But it was the only one.

  28. I am surprised Brewdog weren't interested in combining his other interest airplanes
& having the beer brewed in flight at 30,000 feet
  29. Wow, glad there's quite a bit of Maiden love around here!!! I'm a pretty big fan myself.

Really interested to try this, though don't have very high hopes. Not had many Robinsons beers but I do like a bottle of Old Tom.

On a slightly unrelated note, it always gets me how different Bruce's actual voice is compared to his singing voice - I never expected him to sound like that.

  30. I remember old tom from the last uni beer festival. A pint of it after 6 half pints of other stuff wasn't the best idea, especially with a seminar first thing next morning.
  31. next up Cliff Richard brews a Cracker Barrel aged Chocolate Cherry Imperial Oatmeal Stout at BrewDog

  32. Cliff Richard is just far too Rock'n'Roll for Brewdog
they are currently negotiating with One Direction, Backstreet boys & Olly Muirs

  33. Ha ha not the best of ideas! But then again who goes to seminars anyways ;)
