WA Beer Week

Discussion in 'Australia & New Zealand' started by CarlisleWineBin, Oct 19, 2012.

  1. Prob more relevant to WA BA's (of course!).

    Homepage - http://wabeerweek.com/

Lots happening (off the top of my head):
    Beermuda Triangle
    BEERtasters Quiz night
    Sail & Anchor
Carlisle Carpark Brewday w Little Creatures
    Creatures Daily Firkin Tapping
    and lots more.........

fill in what I have missed out people.

  2. I've heard more about day of the dead celebrations than i have about wa beer week. With the quality of the breweries and craft establishments we really should be challenging the other states but it just doesn't happen.

Anyway I'm looking forward to the Carpark brew day

We're (Sail and Anchor) doing Day of The Dead, 15 (roughly) Rogue beers on tap on the 2nd Nov. Beer Royale is on the 10th and 11th - 15 breweries are setting up in our beer garden with samples, specialty beers etc.
Beer and Brewer magazine dinner is here on the 7th. The Beermuda Triangle stops off here as well on the 14th.

I know Feral are doing something virtually everyday. Ditto The Monk. You would have to talk to each individual outlet though. Steve from the Monk is a good guy to talk to. He knows virtually all going on.

I'll have to come down for Beer Royale. Let's see how quick it takes me to insult one of the brewers.

I'll email you the list of breweries if you want so you can organise and palm card your insults ahead of time.

Or you could just get 'liquored up' at the Monk beforehand and ad lib.

doesnt make it ieasy to get babysitters, etc etc, to get along to the actual events
  7. A bit disappointed that the website has no calander up yet......

And there's probably even less need for babysitters at Melbourne craft queer week
