Went to Wine 101 in Wake Forest after work today with the guys. They had a lot of great beers on tap. I had a Lagunitas Oregon Fusion, a Sam Adams New World, a Palate Wrecker, and then I had a few Jades from Foothills which I had never had before. Pretty damn fine afternoon.
I want that beer also...and your snifter.
Went to 3 Floyds today.
Behold the mighty Behemoth!
(bourbon barrel aged and standard)
I am saving my second bottle of Flower Power for a friend to try....to take my mind off that last bottle I've moved on to this 1/25/13 bottled Nugget Nectar. Such an awesome beer, gorgeous amber color on this beauty. So lucky to have access to pallets of the stuff.
Not sure what is on deck.
I tried so hard to like it, but i just couldn't. It didn't work for me.
I've only had Hunahpu twice, but it is my #1 beer of all time. Wish I could figure out a way to get a whole bottle, but I will take any chance to get an ounce or two at a tasting.
Allowing a bomber of Espresso Oak Aged Yeti to warm a bit and can't wait to dive in. Haven't had this in awhile and was blown away the last time I had it a year or so ago.
Leon is my white whale...

He'll of a time uploading this one. Session brew.
Taste is subjective. This beer is really hot right now. I'm going to age one and see what a little time will do to this one.
Just left my job today after almost 6 years, this is my celebration beer. I'll be starting my own business
Currently having what appears to be quite a popular choice tonight...
They offered but I just could not do it.
Resin! Forgot how good this delicious ale is!
Watching the game also.
Erskine should be suspended for that elbow to Simmonds head.
Just finished a bottle of Stone Pale Ale... holy cow. It has been a long time since I've had a pale ale that really stood out to me, and this stood out with certainty.
Getting ready to move on to Bluegrass Brewing Company's Bourbon Barrel Stout.
Yes i know. Its a great beer, thats why i tried so hard. Cheers!
I worked my way through the Evolution variety case tonight.
Started with their Primal Pale Ale. Tasty.
Next was the Exile ESB. Damn good ESB.
After that was the bomb diggity. Lucky 7 Porter whoo it has got some smoke thing going on that got me feeling it.
Right now I just poured a Lot 3 IPA. The only beer from the mix I've had prior to now and it smells like glory drinks as well. I guess I'll have to find some LOt 6 to complete the journey this weekend.
Hope you guys have a great weekend and Cheers!
