Sipping on a founders backwoods bastard while I make some turkey chili for my Super Bowl party.
Pre-gaming with a little bit of homebrew. Unfiltered IPA. I think this one may be a bit oxidized, but it's got a nice, musky, earthy hop flavor.
Breckenridge Avalanche Ale paired with a London Broil, tamed pepper, and sharp cheddar panini. Solid!
Going on a beer break for two weeks and signing off with this one. Man, this stuff is AMAZING. It packs the punch of any Bourbon County, with only 8.9% ABV. Lush, sweet and delicious.
Might as well start off my day with my first ever one of these. Watching some pens hockey followed by the SB... Not a bad day!
Light desk work now. And some Diabolical!
Got lucky with this bottle.. Almost $7.. Let me see
Yes, they do
On my third cup of black coffee, but will be splitting growlers of Alesmith IPA and Ballast Point Sculpin with the family later as we watch the Super Bowl and eat homemade carnitas/tortillas/beans/rice/guacamole/salsa for dinner.
But I don't come without music...
Seeing White Buffalo later this month. I'm really looking forward to it.
Cheers, all. Go 9ers!
What did you think?
Having this while I prepare the requisite chili for the Super Bowl.
Then someone's pale ale.
1/5/2013 I think. just finished mine off last night. The best IPA I have ever had. Although I havent had a lot of the real highly rated ones around here since I am on the east coast.
Taking a break from clearing out the Christmas beers...
Continuing with the (unintentional) cherry theme...
That glass is just as awesome as that beverage.
2012 BCBS right now following a 375 of 3F Oude Gueuze bottled March 5, 2012.
Just got back from the store, and this is what I'll be enjoying later for the Super Bowl (Go Niners! I have $20 on them...). Cheers!
First of the day. Gotta say this is the first of the Bourbon County varients that I struck out on through normal distribution and while I did take the time to track one down in trade I'm glad I didn't go overboard on it. It's good, don't get me wrong, but I still prefer regular and coffee to this by a fair degree. Glad I got to try it though, worth the hunt.
Well it's only 11:30am here on the west coast , butt it's Super Sunday , so I can start a little early with an

Looks like that glass needs a good cleaning! None the less cheers and wish I had a beer now instead of heading into work...
I love love love the way unfiltered IPA's look! Best looking beers, IMHO.
Sixpoint 3BEAN............. just picked up a 64oz. growler...
This picture didn't turn out as good as I was hoping, but my parent's back yard is very photogenic with the right camera. I guess this will have to do. Two Hearted, the beer is outstanding though!
I hear that. Heady edges it out for me, but Ghandi-Bot is my clear #2.
Oh the glass was clean. That beer was just massively carbonated.
Special treat for me for Super Bowl!!
I feel the same. Ghandi bot has a very slight boozyness that stops me from drinking like I can with HT. that's good BTW.
I'm sipping on Samuel Adams Black Lager now.
Really like that glass!
I was sooooo impressed with this one too. How do they get that mouthfeel? It is amazing!!
HOPSLAM. First taste of the year.
How has that held up with age?
I only have a few left. Hopslam season comes and goes quickly.
Sharing this with me, myself, and I. Could use some carb but oh so much flavor!
First half on the left, second half on the right.
